The sterilization of my kitty Evermore - ENG / SPA -

Hello my dear friends! I hope you are fine. I know I haven't written in this community for a long time, however, today I'm happy to be here to share with you the sterilization of my cat Evermore, who after several days was finally sterilized this week.

¡Hola mis queridos amigos! Espero se encuentren muy bien. Se que tengo mucho tiempo sin escribir en esta comunidad, sin embargo, hoy estoy contenta de estar por aquí para compartir con ustedes la esterilización de mi gata Evermore, la cual luego de varios días finalmente fue esterilizada esta semana.

I had to sterilize her this week because we suspected at home that one of my cats had mounted her and the process at first was a little difficult because we initially planned to sterilize her at a veterinary clinic last saturday, however, at the last minute they told me that they could not to do the operation since they suspended the day for no apparent reason until next Saturday, so because I needed to sterilize her as quickly as possible, I turned to other options.

Tuve que esterilizarla esta semana ya que sospechamos en casa que uno de mis gatos la había montado y el proceso al principio fue un poco difícil ya que inicialmente pensamos esterilizarla en una clínica veterinaria el sábado pasado sin embargo, a última hora me dijeron que no podrían hacer la operación ya que suspendieron la jornada sin motivo aparente hasta el próximo sábado, entonces como necesitaba esterilizarla lo más rápido posible así que recurrí a otras opciones.

Another option to take her was to a veterinary center quite far from home and although it was a good option in the end I regretted taking her because being quite far away the transfer was going to be quite stressful for the kitty so I finally decided to go to a doctor who was recommended to me. some friends who have their office near my house so on Thursday we were able to transfer her to be sterilized without problems. I really liked having taken her to this doctor because he offered me a fairly complete and comfortable service for my kitty because in addition to sterilizing her, he kept her hospitalized for 2 days and gave me all the medications intravenously, so in the end I wouldn't have needed to buy medicines and it was also more relaxing for me because I was worried about his care for the first 24 hours afterwards.

Otra opción para llevarla era en un centro veterinario bastante lejos de casa y aunque era buena opción al final me arrepentí de llevarla porque al estar bastante lejos el traslado iba a ser bastante estresante para la gatita así que finalmente decidí recurrir a un médico que me recomendaron unos amigos el cual tiene su consultorio cerca de mi casa así que el jueves la pudimos trasladar para esterilizarla sin problemas. Me gustó mucho el haberla llevado con este doctor ya que me ofreció un servicio bastante completo y cómodo para mi gatita ya que además de esterilizarla, la mantuvo hospitalizada por 2 días y me le suministró de manera endovenosa todos los medicamentos, por lo que al final no me habría hecho falta comprar medicamentos y también fue más relajante para mí ya que me preocupaba sus cuidados las primeras 24 horas después.

Once my kitty came home I was a little worried because she hid under the sofa, she didn't want to eat or drink water, and she was also a bit unruly, however, after consulting the vet I was calmer because he told me that is normal and it will pass very soon. Today she finally came out of her hiding place and she is happier, I was also able to heal her wound and put healing cream on her. Although I was a little stressed because I didn't know what the post-operative process was going to be like and I was afraid that it was going to get complicated, I like that she is quite well and energetic, in approximately 10 days they will remove the stitches and thank God everything is going well so far, and although it was a bit of a difficult experience at first I'm very relieved that it was quite easy in the end and that my kitty is recovering satisfactorily.

eUna vez mi gatita se llegó a casa me preocupé un poquito ya que ella se escondió bajo el sofá, no quería comer ni tomar agua, y también andaba algo arisca sin embargo, luego de consultar al veterinario me quedé más tranquila porque el me dijo que eso es normal y que se le pasaría muy pronto. Hoy finalmente salió de su escondite y está más alegre, también pude curar su herida y colocarle su cicatrizante. Aunque estaba un poco estresada ya que no sabía como iba a ser el proceso post operatorio y me daba miedo de que fuese a complicarse, me agrada que esté bastante bien y enérgica, el 10 días aproximadamente le quitan los puntos y gracias a Dios todo va bien hasta ahora, y aunque fue una experiencia un poco difícil al principio estoy muy aliviada de que haya sido bastante sencilla al final y que mi gatita se esté recuperando satisfactoriamente.

Truly, sterilizing her ended up being a pretty good procedure and I'm glad I was able to achieve it because it's quite positive for her and in addition to avoiding unwanted mating and pregnancies, it also protects her from many diseases. It has been a pleasure to have shared the process with you!

De verdad que esterilizarla terminó siendo un procedimiento bastante bueno y me alegro haber podido lograrlo ya que es bastante positivo paraella y además de evitar montas y embarazos no deseados también la protege de muchas enfermedades. ¡Ha sido un gusto haber compartido el proceso con ustedes!
