[ENG-SPA] Initiative (Warriors): 🎂Happy Birthday Dan// Feliz cumpleaños Dan🎂

Greetings Warriors! I hope you are doing well. This is my first post in this community and what better than to do it in celebration of @theycallmedan's birthday, this year he turned 36 years old. It's exciting to see that many joined this great celebration. Honestly, I don't care much about Vikings, so I don't know much about them. As a little gift (very humble, but with a lot of love) for our dear friend Dan, I made this drawing for him. I had to see several images of Vikings to have an idea of what I was going to do. At first, I had thought of doing it "kawaii" style, but I decided to leave that project for later and I thought it would be better to do it semi-realistic. The materials I used are shown in the following image.

¡Saludos Guerreros! Espero se encuentren muy bien. Esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad y que mejor que hacerlo en celebración al cumpleaños de @theycallmedan, este año cumplió 36 añitos. Es emocionante ver que muchos se unieron a esta gran celebración. Sinceramente, no me llaman mucho la atención los vikingos, por lo que no sé mucho sobre ellos. Como regalito (bien humilde, pero con muchísimo cariño) para nuestro querido amigo Dan, le hice este dibujo. Tuve que ver varias imágenes de vikingos para tener una idea de lo que iba a hacer. Primero se me había ocurrido hacerlo estilo "kawaii", pero decidí dejar ese proyecto para después y pensé que sería mejor hacerlo semirealista. Los materiales que usé los mostraré en la siguiente imagen.

I combined several materials, and the truth is that I was surprised that even though they were different, they were incorporated in the right way and I realized that my sketchbook sheet is resistant to these materials.

Combiné varios materiales, y la verdad me sorprendió que a pesar de ser diferentes lograron incorporarse de forma correcta y me di cuenta de que la hoja de mi sketchbook es resistente para esos materiales.

I managed to unite two ideas although, of course, I don't have much experience drawing men, much less semi-realistic ones. Drawing hands has always been very difficult because I have not practiced much.

Logré unir dos ideas aunque claro, no tengo mucha experiencia dibujando hombres y mucho menos semirealistas. Dibujar las manos siempre ha sido muy difícil, porque muy poco he practicado.

At this point, I was already liking the combination of colors, but highlighting the brown tones, since that was predominant at that time. I was surprised how it turned out. I did a little research on the Vikings, they stood out for their skill as warriors, I also learned that the word "Viking" really means "pirate" or "maritime expedition" and comes from the Old Norse "vikingr". The Viking Age spanned from the late 8th century to the mid-11th century. They used "drakars", which were long, narrow ships used to transport large numbers of warriors at high speed. The Viking Age culminated in the 11th century, when the Scandinavian kingdoms began to unite under a single government, adopting Christianity as their official religion. The Viking Age had such a great impact on the history of Europe that it continues to be a source of fascination when studying it.

A este punto, ya me iba gustando la combinación de colores, pero resaltando los tonos marrones, ya que eso predominaba en esa época. De verdad, me sorprendió como quedó. Investigué un poco sobre los vikingos, ellos destacaron por su habilidad como y guerreros, también aprendí que la palabra "vikingo" realmente significa "pirata" o "expedición marítima" y proviene del nórdico antiguo "vikingr". La era vikinga abarcó desde finales del siglo VIII hasta mediados del siglo XI. Utilizaban "drakars", estos eran barcos largos y estrechos que servían para transportar una gran cantidad de guerreros a una gran velocidad. La era vikinga culminó en el siglo XI, cuando los reinos escandinavos comenzaron a unirse a un solo gobierno adoptando como religión oficial, el cristianismo. La era vikinga tuvo un gran impacto en la historia de Europa que sigue siendo una fuente de fascinación a la hora de estudiarla.
