Greetings, beautiful people of #LadiesOfHive. Our friend @multifacetas invited me to participate in the contest. This is my first post of the year in this beautiful community, I had some time without posting and today I was encouraged, and I chose to answer the first question of this contest. And the truth has filled me with excitement to make my entry into the contest.
1️⃣ If you were to take a trip this year to another place or country you've never been to, where would you go and what would you do there?
I would love to go to Paris, France. To visit every monument, museum, and park. One of the parks that I have dreamed of since I was a child is "Disneyland Paris", being this the first place I would go to. That park was inaugurated on April 12, 1992, under the name "Euro Disney", but it was changed to "Disneyland Paris" because the brand deteriorated in its first years of loss. Since I was about 7 years old I already dreamed of being a Barbie and visiting Paris and staying to enjoy the attractions that Disneyland has, besides eating the food there, since according to the movies, reviews, etc., you show that they look very funny with their Mickey Mouse shape. They have always shown the park as the place where dreams are fulfilled for both children and adults. Disneyland Park currently receives approximately 15 million visitors a year and is one of the main tourist attractions in Paris.
If I do not have the opportunity to visit Disneyland, I would go to see the Eiffel Tower, as it is 300 meters high and thus contains 1,665 steps. It was created in 1889 for the Universal Exhibition, its design was made by Gustave Eiffel, it lasted a little over a year and involved 250 workers. On several occasions, it was decided to destroy it because it was considered monstrous. When the war broke out in the 20th century, the authorities used it as a radio broadcasting antenna, capturing messages that decisively helped the allies. After that, it had a great boom and nowadays it receives approximately 7 million visitors. I would like to take lots and lots of pictures and use its staircase and elevator. Even though I suffer from vertigo, I think it would be an incredible experience to go there.
Already as a third option, I would love to go to the Catacombs, as they have a great story behind them, regardless if they look a bit "creepy" due to the skulls and human bones that form extensive constructions, I think it would be an excellent option to enjoy the stay in Paris. The tunnels of the Catacombs, which were called "The Quarries of Paris", at the beginning only served as quarries for limestone stones that were used for the construction of most of the monuments and buildings that exist today. Due to the epidemics and diseases that plagued the population in 1786, they decided to move the bones and corpses to combat this. There are about 300 kilometers of excavated Catacombs, but only a small part of them can be visited.
And so far, my entry, I would love to travel to Paris and then go to the 3 places I have named here, it has been my dream, and well I would love so much to take pictures, eat, and have so much fun there and fulfill one of my childhood dreams. Esta es mi primera publicación del año en esta hermosa comunidad, tenía tiempo sin publicar y hoy me he animado, elegí responder la primera pregunta de este concurso. Y la verdad me ha llenado de emoción el hacer mi entrada al concurso.
1️⃣ Si vas a hacer un viaje este año a otro lugar o país en el que nunca has estado, ¿dónde irías y qué harías allí?
Me encantaría ir a París, Francia. Para visitar cada monumento, museo y parque. Uno de los parques que desde niña he soñado es “Disneyland París”, siendo este el primer lugar al que iría. Dicho parque, se inauguró el 12 de abril de 1992, bajo el nombre de “Euro Disney”, pero se cambió a “Disneyland París” porque la marca estaba deteriorada en sus primeros años de pérdida. Desde que tenía unos 7 años ya soñaba ser una Barbie y visitar París y quedarme a disfrutar de las atracciones que tiene Disneyland, además de comer la comida de allí, ya que según las películas, revisas, etc., muestras que se ven muy divertidas con su forma de Mickey Mouse. Siempre han mostrado al parque como el sitio donde se cumplen los sueños tanto de niños como de adultos. El parque Disneyland actualmente recibe aproximadamente de 15 millones de visitantes anuales, siendo uno de los principales atractivos turísticos de París.
Si no tengo la oportunidad de visitar Disneyland, iría a ver la Torre Eiffel, ya que mide 300 metros de altura conteniendo así 1.665 escalones. Fue creada en 1889 para la Exposición Universal, su diseño la realizó Gustave Eiffel, duró un poco más de un año y participaron 250 obreros. En varias ocasiones se decidió destruirla, porque se consideró monstruosa. Al llegar la guerra en el siglo XX, las autoridades la usaron como antena de radiodifusión captando mensajes que ayudaron a aliados de forma decisiva. Después de eso tuve un gran auge que en la actualidad recibe aproximadamente 7 millones de visitantes actuales. Me gustaría sacarme muchísimas fotos, utilizar su escalera y su ascensor. A pesar de que sufro de vértigo, pienso que sería una experiencia increíble ir allí.
Ya de tercera opción me encantaría ir a las Catacumbas, ya que tienen una gran historia atrás de ellas, sin importar si se ven un poco “escalofriantes” debido a las calaveras y huesos humanos que forman extensas construcciones, creo que sería una excelente opción para disfrutar de la estadía en París. Los túneles de las Catacumbas, que se llamaban “Las canteras de París”, al principio solamente servían como canteras de piedras de caliza que emplearon para la construcción de la gran parte de monumentos y edificaciones que existen en la actualidad. Debido a las epidemias y enfermedades que azotaban a la población en 1786, decidieron trasladar los huesos y cadáveres para combatir eso. Son unos 300 kilómetros de Catacumbas excavadas, pero solo se puede visitar una pequeña parte de ellas.
Y hasta aquí, mi entrada, me encantaría viajar a París y luego ir a los 3 sitios que he nombrado aquí, ha sido mi sueño, y pues me gustaría tanto sacarme fotos, comer, divertirme tanto allí y cumplir uno de mis sueños de infancia.
