Greetings super creative crafters, I hope you are well, I am very happy to participate in this month's contest #DiyLove. Several days ago I got my paycheck, I went to Tijerazo (a commercial establishment) where lately they have been stocking up on craft supplies, and I happened to see the super light clay, which is moldable fomi. I was a little insecure about buying it, but thinking about what I could do for my loved ones, I decided to buy it, it was not expensive. Then I got home very excited to get down to work, I did not want to get carried away by ideas because I knew it would be difficult, since it was my first time doing something with this type of material. I'm going to show you a little bit of the process of what I made for my best friend, MY MOM 🙈❤️.

Saludos crafteros súper creativos, espero se encuentren bien, estoy muy feliz de participar en el concurso de éste mes #DiyLove. Hace varios días me pagaron la quincena, fui a Tijerazo (un establecimiento comercial) donde últimamente se ha surtido de material para manualidades, y casualmente ví la arcilla súper ligera, que realmente es fomi moldeable. De verdad tenía un poco de inseguridad comprarla, pero pensar en lo que podría hacerle a mis seres queridos, pues me animé a comprarlo, no es costoso. Luego llegué a mi casa bien emocionada a ponerme manos a la obra, no quise dejarme llevar por ideas porque se que sería difícil, ya que es mi primera vez haciendo algo con este tipo de material. Les voy a mostrar un poco el proceso de lo que le realicé a mi mejor amiga, MI MAMÁ 🙈❤️.

🌹 MATERIAL USED/MATERIAL USADO 🌹:

• Red, green, black, black, white, and brown moldable fomi.
• Some caps that served as mold or cutters.
• Use a utensil such as a rolling pin.

• Fomi moldeable rojo, verde, negro, blanco y marrón.
• Algunas tapas que sirvieron como molde o cortadores.
• Utilice un utensilio como un rodillo.

🌹 PROCESS/PROCESO 🌹:

I placed a glass on top of my mat so it wouldn't stick to other surfaces. I took some of the red-colored paste, stretched it, then made circles, all this with the help of some recycled utensils.

Coloqué un vidrio encima de mi tapete para que no se pegue a otras superficies. Tomé un poco de la pasta de color rojo, la estiré, luego hice circulos, todo esto con ayuda de algunos utensilios reciclados.

The circles that I previously cut and rolled are placed in the following way, giving them the shape of rose petals. I made 3 roses.

Se colocan de la siguiente forma los círculos que previamente corté, y enrollé, dándole forma de pétalos de rosas. Hice 3 rosas.

I made a 3 mini green circles, 3 sticks and 6 leaves.

Hice un 3 mini círculos verdes, 3 palitos y 6 hojas.

I took another little bit of red fomi, stretched it, and made a heart with the lid of a mini jewelry box. Then I made the arms and legs (it was very difficult to make them the same size and thickness), the eyes, mouth, and cheeks.

Agarré otro poquito de fomi rojo, la estiré e hice un corazón con la tapa de un mini joyero. Luego hice los brazos y piernas (fue muy difícil hacerlas del mismo tamaño y grosor), los ojos, la boca y las mejillas.

I glued the smallest rose I made. Then I made a green base to be able to stop it and I placed several colored balls to give more life to the figure.

Le pegué la rosa más pequeña que hice. Luego le hice una base verde para poder pararlo y le coloqué varias bolitas de colores para darle más vida a la figura.

I took some green and light brown fomi and made a "ground" where the larger roses would go to hold them, although to tell the truth that didn't turn out as I thought, the moldable fomi is very indelible.

Tomé un poco de fomi verde y marrón claro, e hice como una "tierra" donde iría las rosas más grandes para sostenerlas, aunque a decir verdad eso no salió como pensé, el fomi moldeable queda muy indeleble.

My post has the title "Dare to do something new for love" because I dared to do something unknown to give it to my mom, she is my best friend, the person I love the most, her I managed to do something that surprised me and her too. The moldable fomi surprised me, because you can do whatever you want, the bad thing is that it is not rigid, it is just like the feeling of a normal fomi. I was given several tips in a Facebook group on how I can take advantage of them and little by little I will try them and bring you my experiences. The texture is the same as the fomi in foil, the advantage is that we can make 3D figures, it was very gratifying to achieve the challenge of the product is what I wanted, I liked what I got. My love figurines for my mom. I hope you liked it, the truth is that I wasn't very good with plasticine when I was a child and since this was my first time using this material I feel that I didn't do too badly. Mi post tiene el título de "Atrevernos a algo nuevo por amor", ya que me atreví a algo totalmente desconocido para regalárselo a mi mamá, ella es mi mejor amiga, el ser que más amo, por ella logré hacer algo que me sorprendió y a ella también. El fomi moldeable me sorprendió, porque se puede hacer lo que deseemos, lo malo es que no queda rígido, queda justo como la sensación de fomi normal. Me dieron varios consejos en un grupo de Facebook sobre el como puedo sacarles provecho y poco a poco iré probándolas y trayéndoles mis experiencias. Realmente la textura es igual a los fomi en lámina, la ventaja es que podemos hacer figuras en 3D, fue muy gratificante lograr el reto de que el producto sea lo que realmente deseaba, me gustó mucho lo obtenido. Mis figuritas de amor para mi mamá. Espero que les haya gustado, la verdad yo no era muy buena con la plastilina cuando era niña y al ser esta mi primera vez usando este material siento que no me fue tan mal.
