Bay Leaf (Freewrite Challenge)
"After all the ingredients are already cooked, put one bay leaf, or maybe 2 for better aroma. Okay? For sure this will make your fiancé's tummy happy."
"Okay mom! Thank you for teaching me. I'm excited for the dinner." she told her mom after teaching her how to cook adobo. It's her fiancé's favorite so she cooks it for the first time to please him. Her mother is preparing other dishes for the dinner.

Everything are all set on the table, but all covered. She sits beside her fiancé as they talk about their plans for the wedding.
"Now it's time to eat!" she exclaimed with excitement.
Removed the cover of the adobo, and almost everyone coughed from the extreme smell. Seeing their reactions, she was saddened. The strong smell of the bay leaves diffused over the air because she had put a lot than normal.
Seeing her with a sad and frustrated face. "I'm not disappointed. We can eat the other foods prepared. And thank you for the effort. You can do better next time, hon." he assured her.
