Living in the Shadows
I heard a lot from people saying that "I should be like my father" or "no one is following the footsteps of my father". People always compare us to our ascendants, like they want us to live in the shadows of our parents or siblings.
It's like they don't want us to be our own person. Thus, it hinders someone's progress or end up in frustrations for pushing themselves to be like their ascendants. It's not bad if you want to be your father, mother, or older siblings if you have the same passion, and wanted to be like them. You shouldn't just push yourself even it's against your will.
