Monday

It's the second day that my wife isn't here with me. She's currently in Baguio City to attend the PSS, which is a 6-day schooling. Will be going there on her graduation.

This morning, I prepared my breakfast, did the laundry, and swept the floor. Of course, I did exercises and other tasks.

Garden / Homesteading

We visited one of our deaf students at the village of Domalandan. I haven't been there for months but I was glad to see their garden. They have planted different kinds of vegetables like eggplants, okra (ladyfingers), tomatoes, etc. Their trees are growing well too, mostly are mangoes. They're bearing fruits as well!

It is one of my dreams to have my own garden, and do homesteading. It will make me (and my wife) to become self-sufficient. The crisis and inflation is pretty bad in our country, and the government seems doesn't care but we don't have to rely on them. Everything is expensive, and having such garden with vegetables and fruits will save us money.

I have talked to the father of our deaf student, he had set up the garden. Beforehand, he had undergone agricultural training. It's good that he has applied what he has learned.
