One-Album Contract (Freewrite Challenge)
Aside from the recent sales surge of her album, Melanie's single "Finally" became her first Top 10 solo single at the Hot 100 when it surged to number 10. She admitted her recent guesting on "Elma's Daytime Show" contributed to the success of her song.
"Finally" is non-mover at UK Singles though, still at number 18, a new peak at number 17 of Global Singles Chart. The single also crossed Gold Record in the US when it surpassed 500k already, while it is at more than 950k global sales.

Melanie gained sponsorships, and a company wanted to produce a concert tour for her along with co-production of Centerstage Management. It will be a 10-date concerts across the country. Thus, she started on rehearsals.
In one of her shows, Olivia will appear as front act. Centerstage Management is also preparing materials for Melanie's first album. Actually, the initial plan was almost scrapped, and due to her newfound fame, they started to create plans for her music career.
Melanie, who only has one-album contract with Centerstage Management and the record label, isn't planning to sign additional contract if ever a new one will be presented to her. She has a condition on her mind though, that's if she will be given creative control on her next record.
In fact, she started writing songs for her upcoming record without the knowledge of her management and label, and has been playing the piano lately. She wanted to do more soulful R&B songs while she plays the piano on her next record.
