Stone House (Freewrite Challenge)
One of the places that I want to visit here in the Philippines is Batanes. It is a province composed of a group of islands at the northernmost of our country. It's beauty with green sceneries make it one of the Instagramable or even Tiktokable places not just in the Philippines but globally.
It has the beautiful landscape of Scotland and New Zealand, either the sea or the mountains. It's a peaceful place as it's considerably rural, and there are many honest people there. In fact, there's an Honesty store there where nobody is attending to sell. Just pick the item you will buy and leave your payment in the box.
Batanes is also known for the stone houses. Though many houses are already demolished in pursuit of more modern ones, some people are restoring such houses as part of the culture in the province. Those houses are signs of the resilience of the people, and stone houses served as a shelter to protect them because the islands are the most visited area in the country by typhoons or storms. Amidst such storms, they remained strong.
