Six more contestants performed after Susan. The 8th performer also received standing ovation which again upsets Elma because she didn't received such response from the audience and the judges.

After all the performances, the contestants are called on stage as they will announce the top 9. After two contestants mentioned, Elma was the third singer being called for a slot. Susan's name wasn't mentioned to be on the top 9 yet.

The fourth until the seventh slot, Susan wasn't called yet. She's still unfazed. Whatever the result is, she did her best and ready if she will not advance for the next level. When the 8th slot was announced, Susan heard her name, and a sign of support was seen from the audience.
