A Trip To Town.

I stepped inside and found Uncle arguing with Abigail over his sleeping spot. Soon after, Duncan delivered housewarming gifts from Pronghorn Ranch. John and Abigail then set off for Blackwater in a wagon. On the way, John flirted, planned a portrait session, and held a proposal ring in secret.

I stepped inside the home to start another mission, hoping Abigail was not mad at me for going out earlier with Sadie. As I got further inside, I heard shouting and found Uncle having a heated argument with Abigail.

The poor man was fighting with the house owner's wife, desperately trying not to lose his only bed. John interfered and suggested Uncle should just do what Abigail requested, which made Uncle upset that John was taking her side.

Suddenly, someone else arrived with a cart. It was Duncan, the Geddes boy from Pronghorn Ranch. He brought a delivery of old furniture that his parents had sent as a housewarming gift.

Everyone was very glad to receive the items. John appreciated the gesture and told Duncan to thank his parents, letting them know they had friends for life.

Then John mentioned that they still needed more things, so Abigail suggested they should ride into town together. She noted that it had been a long time since they last spent quality time as a couple. They decided to take a wagon into town.

I climbed up onto the wagon, but Abigail hesitated for a moment. John reached down and pulled her up in a romantic gesture, which clearly made Abigail happy.

They set off toward Blackwater, leaving young Jack behind, who did not even bother looking back as his parents rode away.

Along the journey, John started flirting with Abigail, talking about having some simple, wholesome fun together. He brought up a photography studio in town and suggested they should get a picture taken together.

It seemed like they were planning to stay overnight in Blackwater to enjoy some quality time. Sure enough, my guess was right when they stopped in front of the local inn. John helped Abigail down from the wagon, and she teasingly asked why he was being so polite all of a sudden.

Abigail mentioned that she needed to stop by the draper's shop first, while John hoped they could get their picture taken right after. They picked up their pace from there.

While watching another couple nearby, John checked his pocket to make sure he had the ring ready to propose to Abigail.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

"The screenshots are my take but properties of Red Dead Redemption 2."
John casually checking that ring while Abigail had no idea what was coming is probably my favorite little detail in the whole scene. It was way too sweet.
I loved that detail too.
That wagon ride started so innocently, and then John suddenly brought up getting their picture taken... bro was absolutely cooking up something.
I guessed he'd propose Abigail for getting married being inside the photo studio.
My favorite part was when John reached down and helped Abigail onto the wagon. It was such a small gesture, but it showed how much their relationship had changed.
Right, it was such a sweet little moment.
