Chaos returned to St. Denis.

Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest.

After collecting their betting shares, John and Charles headed toward the river while Uncle went to another side. A mission failure forced me to stick close to Charles, leading to a shootout with Martelli's men at the docks. We escaped by wagon, outran the police, met Uncle, and safely returned to Beecher's Hope.

After the fight was done, John was rushing to take Charles out of the place, thinking it could go wrong, and on their way, that money collector gave them their shares as they won on the bet, handing over a thick stack of bills for the successful wager.

Well, the three of them were heading towards the river as Charles mentioned he booked a streamer. Uncle said he'll meet them at the bridge outside Saint Denis, as he had a few errands to run. So the two of us started walking ahead, keeping a steady pace while Charles kept talking.

Then I actually decided to check on what Uncle was going to do. So leaving Charles behind, I started walking backwards. But it led to a mission failure, and I had to stick to Charles, forcing a quick reload after straying too far from my companion.

At the restart, I kept following Charles till we reached the dock, and there Charles recognized some men as Guido Martelli's men and asked me to be careful.

Those people called John and Charles from behind, and when John understood they'd have to fight them, they decided to take cover, and then they started shooting.

There were four of them against the two of us, and I shot all of them down using my handgun while Charles was just waiting for me to do this alone. And the dead eye ability came real handy there, slowing down time so I could land headshots on every target, before they could get a chance to get to cover.

Charles got his bag, and we ran for a wagon that Charles was driving while I was waiting for a shootout on our way as St. Denis ain't short on police.

But fortunately, we reached the bridge outside St. Denis before the police of St. Denis reached us, and we found Uncle waiting for us there. So they just left the town in peace, though I though the route ahead could be dangerous which wasn't.

It was probably the next day where John was shown chopping some tree logs, and in the photo mode, I noticed Charles and Uncle were resting by a bonfire.

Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

The failed attempt to follow Uncle was actually a funny reminder that some missions in this game want you to stay with your companion. Curiosity got the better of you, but the quick mission failure made it clear that Charles was the priority.
The second I saw Uncle heading off, I immediately decided to check what dirty secret he was going for. But alas! I couldn't uncover it.
The game developers definitely had it in mind that gamers could go check what's Uncle is up to, and they don't want to reveal that dirty secret of the old man, so you need to stick with Charles. But hey, nice try.
Yeah bro, I think the developers saw that coming from a mile away 🤣
