Character Portraits in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Character Portraits showing and talking about Character Portraits in RDR 2.

I reached Clemens Point last time I played this game so it gets easier for me to talk about some characters for this contest. I started showing off some portraits of my character Arthur Morgan and then I went to the camp and I started capturing portraits of the camp members.

I was a little far from Clemens Point and found myself idle there when I started playing today. I jumped on that rock and tried the first portrait of Arthur.

I believe, Arthur is not a whole without a horse and it'd not look cool if I don't capture some of his portraits when he's on a horse.

Now I started walking around to get these cool portraits and I was aiming the double guns just to take pose for the portraits, I was not shooting anybody.

At that point, I had to leave home and go outside for some hours.

When I returned home and started playing again, I found him like this, leaning on the tree like a poet or a lover who was waiting for his girl.

I tried setting up a camp there to sleep as it was getting dark soon and I needed sun light for the portraits. When he was awake at the next noon, I made him sit beside the campfire for these captures.

I was riding the horse through those white flowers and I was trying to show a good bonding in between Arthur the horse and I was feeding the horse to get this pose.

How do you like these white horse? I already had in mind that I'd hijack a horse carriage to capture some portraits of Arthur riding it but I didn't have to hijack it. The driver left it as he was being annoyed and I took the chance.

Then I cut the horses free and after letting one flee, I started riding this one and was thinking of keeping this one as the secondary horse as it looked beautiful and beside I didn't have a secondary horse at that moment and I bonded with him after some times.

There I reached the camp as I was done capturing portraits of Arthur alone. Now let's get introduced with some camp members, not all of them.

This is Bill. He was smoking with pleasure but I disturbed him saying we'd get work to do soon and Arthur asked him to get comfortable while he can.

This is Kieran who was one of the O'Driscolls. We captured him in the first chapter and he proved himself worthy to stay with us and I gave him the chance. Now he was working on a saddle of a horse there.

This is Lenny, one of the black man in our camp. I'm not being racist but it was hard to show is face properly because the sun was too strong so I waited for him to sit there under the tree and he started reading a book there.

Now this is Susan who looks after our camp/s and Arthur was praising her work on getting this place whipped into shape. She went there under the tree probably to have some fresh air.

This is Mary-Beth, who was working on some needlework sitting on that log on the shore of the river. Arthur was saying that it looked like hard work but Mary disagreed and I left her as she was.

This is Molly, someone who doesn't like others company so he was sitting in a far from the camp and was reading a book.

That's Dutch, the head of the group. He was tensed about something and was waiting on the bank of the river for me to reach him to start a mission which I'll try soon.

This here is John. He was smoking and noticing how Kieran was doing there with the saddle.

This is Karen and she was guarding front route of the camp holding a big rifle. She was saying that she likes this spot and she added that its a shame that we never robbed the bank in Valentine. I guess, I need to try that someday soon.

Meet Hosea, who is happy to be still alive. He's the one who bails me out if I surrender to the laws in somewhere. Once I found him doing that in Saint Denis.

This is probably the youngest member of our camp and he is Jack. He was working on something there and I let him be asking him not to get too close to the water.

We have Charles over there who helped me on some missions before including finding this spot for our camp. After some smoke, he was working on fire arrows and asked me to get him some drinks so I can have some of those arrows.

This here, is Uncle. I'm not sure but it seems like his name is Uncle or maybe everyone is calling him as Uncle which became his name. I rested there for a moment taking a sit beside Uncle.

This beautiful lady here is Sadie, who didn't like working in the camp as a cook so I took her along to Rodes to buy some groceries and she showed her skill with the gun on the way when some robbers were trying to rob us.
