Skinner Gang Ambush.

After leaving Manzanita Post, our wagon convoys were ambushed by the Skinner Brothers, who shot Mr. Wayne and kidnapped him. Alongside Charles, I fought through waves of arrow-wielding attackers, where a sudden counter-attack caught me off guard.

Leaving Manzanita post behind, we went ahead a little, and suddenly Mr. Wayne, my associate, got arrow shot right at his chest, and we understood we were ambushed by the Skinner gang.

I jumped off the wagon right away, and I guess Charles and the other associates followed. And I started shooting the Skinner gangs in the woods, taking cover behind a dead tree to return fire.

After shooting down a handful of Skinner already, I noticed there were coming more as if they had no shortage of people willing to die.

And when I realized there was only a single one left, I went for him to butch him down with my machete, but he was taken care of already, from a companion's rifle shot.

Then one of our associates said the Skinners grabbed Mr. Wayne, my injured associate. So I started running real fast, sprinting blindly into the overgrown forest path to track their trail.

After running for a moment, I was attacked by more skinners. And all of them were shooting me with arrows while I was also taking them down one by one.

At last, I decided to blow some heads off. So I took out my shotgun, and I was getting close to them, as I need to be close to blow their heads off. The loud blasts started tearing through the quiet woodland air.

Then I noticed one last skinner was left alive, and he was at a height on a tree. So I used my lasso to bring him down, and he died of the fall, landing heavily on the rugged forest floor upside-down.

We kept moving ahead to find Mr. Wayne, while there came more skinners that we had to take care of.

At a point, I decided to use my machete to try some special takedowns, as I was getting bored fighting all of them in the same way. Swinging the heavy steel blade to cut down the attackers in close quarters seemed exciting for the moment.

And suddenly, one of the skinners jumped on me, and I was still relaxed, knowing I just beat him up, but that man used his machete to take me down at the next moment. The screen faded as the blade found its mark.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

The Skinner Brothers just kept coming from every direction. It really felt like they had prepared the perfect ambush and were determined to overwhelm your group.

That final counterattack was a perfect reminder not to underestimate the Skinner Brothers. Even when victory seemed close, one careless moment was enough to end the fight.

You were just enjoying a peaceful wagon ride but the Skinners decided to crash the party with a volley of arrows. I heard Wayne talking so boldly in your last post and now he became the first one to take a shot and got kidnapped as well? Damn.

Getting a bit bored of regular gunplay and deciding it is the perfect time to challenge everyone to a close-quarters sword fight did sound crazy. You became too cozy with your rifles that the boredom sent you towards die.

You thought you had that last Skinner completely figured out, but it was a shame that he really hit you with the ultimate counter-attack right before the screen faded.
