The Hunt of Ramon Continues.

Following a tip, we tracked Ramon's gang on our way to Dewberry Creek, and scouted their position from an old water mill. I provided sniper cover as Sadie advanced into a fierce shootout. After clear out waves of gunslingers, I cornered Ramon who was escaping on a boat, and recaptured him.

When we were taking Ramon to the sheriff's office previously, he mentioned there was men meeting him at Dewberry Creek. So we decided to start by looking there to pick up his trail.

On our way, we noticed some lamp lights under a bridge, and John believed that was the gang we were looking for. Sadie suggested we should find a good vantage point while staying on the road.

And yeah, we looked for a vantage point and found an old water mill by the creek bed. We climbed up on the shed to take a good look at them before doing anything, confirming these were our targets waiting for a boat.

Sadie asked John to cover her with a sniper rifle while she went down there to fight the men. John was not so sure about the plan, but after telling him to do what he was told, Sadie firmly mentioned it was her show.

Now that Sadie went close to them, they started shooting while she shot back. I covered her by pinning down those people one by one using my sniper rifle from the high ground.

But after taking some of them down, Sadie asked me to get down there. We started running ahead, following her to fight a lot more enemies blocking the path.

It looked like Ramon had a big fan base, as there were gunslingers all over the place. We would definitely have gotten overwhelmed if I did not have enough chewing tobacco stored for my special ability.

While we reached close to the river ahead fighting our way through the remaining guards, I noticed Ramon was escaping by rowing a small boat.

We had to hurry, as we did not want to lose our target again. After taking care of all his men, we reached the shore, and I aimed at Ramon's boat to capture him alive. Scared that I would shoot him, he turned the boat around and came back.

Right after pulling him out of the boat, John tied him up tightly on the riverbank. However, it looked like more of his gang members were already coming for an extended fight.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

Sadie and John make a great team in these missions. Sadie charging into the gunfight while John provides sniper cover from above was a deadly combination.
Oh yeah? yeah, you're right.
Thanks for curating.
That old water mill turned out to be an amazing sniper nest. Covering Sadie from up there made the whole fight feel cinematic.
Definitely. No other vantage point could be any better than this one.
You were standing on the high ground which gave you a huge advantage. The old water mill was the perfect place to scout the gang before starting the fight.
Yeah the water mill came handy.
An entire army waiting for Ramon at Dewberry Creek.😂 Every time you cleared one group, another wave of gunslingers seemed to appear.
I'm guessing this Ramon will do something bad to John. Let's see.
It was very interesting that when you were preparing to shoot Ramon, Ramon got scared and immediately turned the boat back.
I didn't think he'd come back this easily but he did.
