The Rush Hour.

We rushed downhill to rescue Mr. Wayne from the Skinners. After I cleared the enemies using his shotgun, we discovered Mr. Wayne dead, pinned to a tree. We recovered his body and the stolen toolbox, retreated quickly to Beecher's Hope to deliver the tragic news to Uncle.

Knowing that Mr. Wayne had been dragged downhill by the hostiles, we rushed to the lower area immediately upon the restart. I was determined not to grant the enemy any tactical advantage this time, so I initiated a highly aggressive assault to catch them off guard.

I decided to bypass the machete entirely to avoid repeating the mistakes of my previous attempt. Instead, I let my shotgun do the talking, engaging the Skinner at close range and blowing their heads off to clear the area quickly.

Once the immediate perimeter was completely cleared of Skinners, we began a frantic search for Mr. Wayne around. Unfortunately, we discovered him too late; the sadistic gang had already executed him by driving a knife through his right eye, binding his lifeless body tightly to a large tree.

Charles carefully lifted Mr. Wayne's body onto his shoulders while I secured the heavy toolbox that the Skinners had stolen during the ambush. We sprinted back toward our waiting wagons to ensure a swift departure before any enemy reinforcements could arrive to cut off our escape.

Upon reaching the vehicles, Charles laid the body of Mr. Wayne alongside the other fallen associate before climbing aboard my wagon. I snapped the reins and we drove back toward Beecher's Hope at top speed, navigating the dark paths as quickly as possible.

We arrived at the ranch, where Uncle immediately approached the wagon to complain about our late return. He stopped talking the moment he caught sight of Mr. Wayne's body, shifting the mood instantly as the rest of the family gathered to help unload the tragic cargo from the back.

The scene transitioned to a peaceful afternoon, showing John and Charles sitting quietly by a crackling bonfire. They drank hot coffee together in silence, reflecting on the brutal events of the day while the camp settled into a calm state.

The mission formally concluded following the quiet campfire sequence. I activated the photo mode feature to survey the ranch layout and captured a final view of Uncle waiting patiently under the cool shade of the main structure.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

Letting the shotgun do the talking seemed like an absolute necessity against the Skinners, cause they close the distance way too fast.

The second attempt went much better. Switching from the machete to the shotgun was definitely the right call against the Skinner Brothers.

The Skinners are one of the most disturbing gangs in the game. Finding Mr. Wayne's body pinned to the tree was a brutal moment.

Finding Mr. Wayne pinned to that tree was an incredibly grim and brutal sight. And I see Charles did not hesitate to lift Mr. Wayne up while you grabbed the stolen toolbox.

That sight was absolutely horrific, it really showed how brutal this world can get.
