Wildlife Photography in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Virtual Wildlife Photography showing and talking about some a lot of my Wildlife Photographs in RDR 2.

After trying water experiences around Mount Shann, I went deeper towards the frosty parts of the map as I was dying to see some snow and snow animals around so my wildlife photography started from the snowy atmosphere.

It was hard to find life in these parts though I noticed some Deer on the ice lake there but I didn't go close to them as I didn't wish to scare them. It was hard to keep them on focus as everything used to become so dim from time to time as the temperature there was too low.

Deer in the frosty wild.

Basically this deer was the first model of my wildlife photography who was on the other side of the lake and I used the binocular to take these shots. I mostly used the binocular to do the wildlife photographs as I shouldn't get close to them in such photographs.

Then I noticed this deer on another part who was not alone, had a partner around and both of them were looking for foods being separate.

Then they came close to each other and it looked like that deer noticed me from a distance though I don't think it noticed me cause it didn't run away.

The lonely Bunny.

I suddenly noticed this cute bunny was jumping from one place to another and then relaxes for a moment and then starts jumping again.

I was busy taking its photographs in different angles and suddenly it was relaxing in a way as if it was watching me.

Goat Triangle Love-Story.

One goat in the wild.

Two goats romancing in the wild.

Two goats leaving each other in the wild.

Cause a third one arrived at the scene and broke the heart of the second one.

First one tried to be loyal and was going towards the second one.

Second one didn't accept the first one and the third one also rejected the first one now after the disrespect so all of them were in separate paths now.

Winter Wolves.

When I was capturing the triangle love story of the goats, two wolves were playing with a funny there and I tried to capture them from a distance not because I'd scare them but because I was scared of them.

Then I noticed this wolf was staring towards me though he was in a distance so I kept capturing its photo and suddenly I noticed that he was coming towards me with the whole pack of three of them to hunt me.

Well, I was not going to hunt any wild animals in this play as I was there only to photography purpose but I had to defend myself by hunting them down.

Then I riding out of the frosty parts towards the normal temperature area and these two wolves suddenly found me and was about to attack me so I had to take them down.

After riding my horse for some time, I reached the green areas again and I was witnessing snowfall there which looked cool. Now let's do the real photography.

Eastern Wild Turkey.

After coming into this forest, my first found was this wild turkey who was roaming around and looking for foods just like any normal turkey or chicken.

Then I noticed two more and they can fly a little as well as they have wings but they can't fly like a bird. These turkey yields feathers and plump bird meat that can be used in crafting and cooking or can be sold.

Black Squirrel.

I suddenly noticed this cute black squirrel who was running around there in the wild. These squirrels wields a carcass and stingy meat that can be used in crafting or cooking or can be sold.

American Red Fox.

This fox looked so sad and lonely when it was walking around and it suddenly stole my full focus. It can yields a pelt and stringy meat that can be used in crafting and cooking or can be sold.

Scarlet Tanager Songbird.

Suddenly I noticed these tiny birds were flying above me and there were different colored of them. I froze the game using the photo mode and got these phantastic captures.

Wild Horses.

This horse or the race of this horse is called Morgan who falls in Palomino coat and you can see how beautiful he looks.

And they are Tennessee Walker and they fall in Gold Palomino coat. There were two of them close-by eating grass.

I focused on one and I pet him in a very short time and then I released him as well after this, I just tried to see how good I'm in breaking the wild horses.

Rocky Mountain Bighorn Ram.

All the time I was focusing on this animal, it was eating something for most of the time. They yields a pelt, horns and gristly mutton.

Rocky Mountain Bull Elk.

I'm not familiar with Elks. It just looked like a fat deer to me and it was walking around there when I was trying to capture some good photos of it.

Suddenly it noticed me capturing its photo without permission and it attacked me and escaped towards the tunnel. I understood it was my fault as I didn't take its permission so I let it be.

And I noticed two of them were swimming in the lake and I guess they were in the lake to take a shower as it was not like they didn't have any other way to pass the lake.

When I there hiding myself in some grasses and capturing photos of the Tennessee Walkers, this Elk came near me and thinking it might attack me again, I was not moving a bit and then it left.

Timber Wolf.

I was leaving this place to get to another forest to find other kinds of animals and these timber wolves got me on the way and they were about to attack me.

I had to defend myself by taking them down and I did it mostly using the knife though I shot down one who was escaping after I killed another.

I know this is totally off-topic to this theme but still I'm sharing it here cause I fell in that situation when I was there in the wild doing wildlife photography. Four/five of them surrounded me when I was trying not to fight them but then I had to take all of them down and you should've seen me in action.

Grizzly Bear.

I was in the territory of Whitetail Deer but suddenly I noticed this Grizzly Bear there and I was following it to capture some photos. They yields a fat, claw and big game meat.

But it noticed me suddenly and ran towards me. I tried to get away from it without killing it but it killed me instead.

Whitetail Deer.

At last I found a whitetail deer there walking around in the wild alone. At first I was capturing its photo using the binocular but then I spooked it intentionally to capture its moving.

American Pronghorn Buck.

These are my last captures for this contest and you're witnessing some American Pronghorn Buck who yields a hide and mature venison meat.

Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

"The screenshots are my take but properties of Red Dead Redemption 2."

Thanks. When I was capturing the photos of the goats, I was thinking of writing something like this and then I just did it.

Very good photos, you can see the animals calm in their real environments. That's real wildlife.
