People start out telling stories sometimes with "when I was young and foolish", so I guess if spring makes one feel young, it might stand to reason that it could also entice them to be a little foolish too.
I liked the haiku and the story behind it. I have never tried to write one, although I have seen them here and there.
I sort of like the idea of following your follies 😄
