La sábila, también conocida como áloe, en otros países

Hoy vamos a hablarles de una planta, que aquí en nuestro país, Venezuela, es llamada la sábila y conocida mundialmente como áloe, porque ella es oriunda del áfrica del sur, específicamente de Madagascar.
Su color verde y en algunos casos su verde tiende a tomar un poco grisáceo, que nace y crece directa desde su raíz, o sea que no tiene tallo. Aquí vemos la flor de la sábila.

Una de las formas de sembrar la sábila es:

La Sábila tiene una flor muy peculiar de color entre amarillo y verde. Y que es en forma de cono alargada, esa flor tiene una especie como de vainas, y dentro de ella están una semilla negra, dándole golpecito y ellas van a caer. De esa forma después ustedes la siembran donde quieran.

Sus hojas de una forma como especie de lanza, pero muy alargadas y con espinas por sus dos bordes. Como vemos aquí en esta fotografía.

Es de forma aplanada por el frente y de forma convexa por su parte posterior, esas hojas están contenidas de un cuerpo carnoso, pero muy contenido de líquido por su misma característica, ellas almacenan agua adicional a ser su cuerpo carnoso y blando, es recubierto de una sustancia que aquí criollamente se le dice babosa, es espesa y gelatinosa.

También tiene una facultad de que cuando se corta de la mata, genera un líquido amarillento que es una resina natural. A nivel mundial hay una cantidad de especies, aquí en Venezuela se reconoce la que se le presentara en las siguientes fotos que es la más común en todo el mundo.

Esta planta con el transcurrir de los años se han descubierto muchos usos tanto para la alimentación. Como una mayonesa. En este caso se sustituye el huevo por la sábila.
Se puede hacer una salsa con la misma mayonesa, ya hecha con la sábila se le echa pimentón y queda muy rica.

Como para la parte médica o curativa, está siendo usada o incluida en muchos productos de cosmetología y cuidado diario, además de estos usos también es usada ornamentalmente y como adorno. Aquí vemos como van saliendo muchas más pequeñitas, que pronto crecerán mucho más.

Es muy eficaz con sus efectos positivos sobre la piel, en el caso de la resina amarillenta nombrada anteriormente es muy curativa para los efectos de cicatrización, y como analgésico instantáneo.
Igual que colocar trozos del gel que contiene la parte interna de sus hojas, es buena para las afecciones de la piel, quemaduras, cuando se utiliza tomada es buena para el estreñimiento y el llamado síndrome de colon irritable.
Es depurativa, desintoxicante y ayuda mucho en la digestión, es antiviral y se considera un suplemento dietético, por ayudar a eliminar la glucosa del organismo se puede emplear para personas con diabetes tipo ll.
Igualmente, ayuda a bajar el colesterol, los triglicéridos, ayuda a mejorar la circulación. Estás solo algunas cualidades.
