Apocalyptic Homesteading (Day 1124)

Hello Everyone!

A nice day, The elusive pet antibiotics, More hiking less hobbies & Learning along the way!

Okay, it is that time of the day again to dive into the writing... so I better stop putting it off before the hour grows much later. Since the sun set nearly two full hours ago I am already running a little behind... but it sure beats how late that I started yesterday.

I am still not back to feeling like my occasionally cantankerous self... even though it seems like most of the infection is gone... and my chin is no longer sore to the touch. For what it is worth I am still taking the amoxicillin... and although I kind of want to hoard the few remaining capsules that I have... I may wind up taking them all just for good measure.

The last time that I searched for more online I was not successful at finding them... so I might wind up looking in the pet areas at a few stores. Or I may have to dig a little deeper on the internet... for it being sold to fish farms (or something similar) and look into how I can order from a supplier.

Anyways, the day was a pretty nice one and tonight will be the last cold night before things start warming back up a good bit. There will only be two good days of fair weather ahead... so I better use it while I can because there is a bunch of rain moving in after that.

Today was another day that was not especially productive no matter how much time I spent slogging through various coding projects. I have still been feeling super foggy headed... so I have not had too high of hopes for my projects... but at this point it is getting kind of annoying.

Heck, even doing the writing has been super challenging... and I keep finding myself 'trailing off' in the middle of writing a sentence. I think that over the coming days I am going to break away from all my usual routines of late and go hiking just to see if that helps.

It definitely seems more appealing than floundering around like I have been the last several days. There has been more than a few times now where at the end of working on something for six hours... I simply have to give up... scratch my head and go: Well, I mucked that up!

At which point I usually save the 'good' parts, delete the rest and move on. Which is not nearly as tragic as it all may sound... because by and large I have steered clear of working on anything I can truly 'mess up' and am constantly learning things along the way... even on the days I do not have much to show for my efforts.

Well, I am going to keep this entry super short so that I can get the editing and posting done before the fatigue kicks in. I hope that everyone is doing well and has a nice time.

Hang in there! Health issues can be a real drag, but fresh air and nature are powerful healers. I'm sure that hike will do wonders for your fogginess.
