A Short Adventure with a Santa Con Pub Crawl

Story time.

On an overcast winter's day, a group of friends embarked on a unique adventure- a Santa Con Pub Crawl. The afternoon started off with the group donning their Santa-best, with red and green outfits, Santa hats, and plenty of jolliness to go around.

They made their way to the first pub on their list, where they were warmly welcomed with hot mugs of spiced cider and sweet Christmas cookies. After a few drinks and some good laughs, they moved on to the next pub, where they were greeted with Christmas shots, festive decorations, and an array of Christmas-themed drinks and dishes.

The Day went on, with the group making their way through each pub and experiencing a unique experience at each.. however, this pub gower dropped off after the second pup and did not rock out for the 12 pubs of Christmas... this is the short-lived story for your enjoyment.

Let's get on wit this short adventure in pubs.

Here is the ticket for the Pub crawl; you will notice the 12 boxes... keep that in mind for later on. Each bar offers a free shot or drink; you stay for an hour, then move on to the next pub...

A bit blurry, but that was my first and only drink on the crawl, a cup of hot mulled wine. (Sorta hit me a bit too hard)

The first stop was at a place called "The Workshop." Here some of the Con Gowesrs were putting up the banner for the event to welcome other Santa-dressed people.

Peple came dressed in their holiday best, some like trees and some like santa.

The mary bunch wandered down the street, holding the banner, drinks in hand, smiling and enjoying the moment.

The second stop was a local pizza place; 20 Santas flooded into the shop, all Ho ho ho ing and spreading holiday mirth and enjoying drinks.

It was at this point, I sorta ninja-ed away into the afternoon... as much as I wanted to walk around all day taking shots... I was also tired and had work to do with @DBUZZ, so back to my laptop after a short nap.

Later on in the evening, about 5 hours later... at the last bar, the con arrived. THe bar owner asked if I ould help pour the shots and I said yes!

The bartender took me behind the bar, had me sample the holiday mix, a ver tasty mix indeed...

I hung the shots on the bar with care, realizing that the saint nick bar craw would soon be here.

Then like thunder, 26 bar gowers came in asunder. With the speed of 12 tiny reindeer, I poured shots and collected tickets from all the drinkers who were now quite drunk and not sober.

With a fist full of tickets from the Santa Con pub crawl drinkers, I held them to the light and thought of all the memories they made on their 9 hours of pub drinking.

Hahhaa, The tickets each cost 200,000 VND, the money from this craw went to helping some orphan children get gift boxes for Christmas, so the money went to a good cause. :)
