Drawing Agreement and Trust (and 2 fun stories behind it)

Hi Hiveians! Have you ever felt so sneeky and slick at one point of your life without anyone knowing? Maybe especially in your childhood. This is also a fun true story I had during the making of this drawing! 😀

First of all, I drew this in my sketchbook with a pencil and eraser at the pool. Drawing in the open nature really relaxes me and frees my thoughts for something nice to draw in my sketchbook.

I was sitting under a palapa (tiki hut) where there also happened to be a bar for food & drink. Some other people, a mother and her big son that I didn't know, sat down at the same table I was sitting at since it was the only one left. They watched me draw.

I had no problem with them watching me, but the funny part is that when they spoke in Spanish about me, I could understand every word of their conversation. Since in Mexico, I look a lot like a gringa outsider so it's always funny when people try to talk about me and then I turn around and say "yuh I speak Spanish too" (in Spanish of course) 🤣🤣

They were really nice people and enjoyed watching me and I enjoyed the company. GG to them!

This drawing took me more than one day, the next day, I was sitting at the same place until a bartender asked me over because they wanted to see the things I draw. One bartender started to get questionably emotional over this drawing, I only knew why until she showed me her ankle since there she had a tattoo of the exact same thing. They looked so similar! How ironic that I decided to draw this out of literally anything at that time.
