Caminando por la playa
y mojando mis pies
en la sagrada espuma;
una flor de coral
me trasmitió estos versos
que hoy se enredan
en la orilla de mi pluma ...

En el fondo del mar
hay una estrella de mar
que suele cantar
versos al despertar,
ella se mira cada mañana
en el áureo espejo del sol
que peina sus cabellos ...

Entre las conchas y el coral
se ha extraviado un marinero
tras las huellas de un te quiero,
y una perla sonrojada
su pañuelo ha dejado caer
buscando la atención
de aquel perdido caballero ...

Un coral amortajado en la arena solloza
etéreos versos incomprendidos
por una linda moza
que le tiene el corazón prendido,
y el alma hecha jirones
por las ráfagas de tormenta
en que naufraga ese idílico amor ...
