Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Theme: Rebellion

Howdy guys, hope everyone is doing alright, back again for my first post of the week here in splinterland and hope you are all well and doing alright. The theme for this week's Social media contest is still "REBELLION" .

The long awaited #REBELLION general sale that has been long anticipated for a while now has finally come and the new things we have been reading about for a while now we have finally seen them in action, the General sale took off on the 5th of December and cards purchased and new gameplay was integrated, if you are new to splinterland there is no better time to jump in cause most others are having to unlearn and relearn the game cause of the new changes that have been implemented and trust me the game is a lot more winnable now for new member with the introduction of new features we will talk about in a bit
I been saying for a while now the new Rebellion push would revolutionize the entire splinterland gameplay, and well I had not imagined the changes on this mind blowing scale. Splinter land is now 3x(not exaggerating) more fun and for those of us that missed out on a couple of years without playing, the playing field has finally been levelled with the new splinterland additives.
Here are the top most noticeable additions you would see and how they changed the gameplay by a long shot

• DUAL ELEMENT SUMMONERS

Unlike the usual selection of just fire solo or just water solo they are summoners who give you a widwe range of cards to select from, Summoners like Brewmaster, Zeddica , Chuul Jujinchi and Prunda are classic examples of dual element summoners.

• ABILITY CHOICE

As is formerly custom the second you select your cards and all cards are revealed that's where your strategy ends and there is nothing more to be done, we'll not anymore with the new summoners like Avina of the wolf that you can select 2 of your revealed cards and give them additional +2 speed or you give 1 card an additional boost, or the grand Reklah summoner that you can choose to reduce -2 health from your opponents cards, this is great for cards that have low HP you can just minus them from the start amd give your self the upper hand but the little catch here is that this summoners cost as much as 5 mana each so you have to take that into account.

• NEW CARDS

To some folks this was the most exciting aspect of the #REBELLION integration, and honestly they are some additional amazing cards that cannot be looked down upon. I myself am on the quest to find 1 particular fire base card Redwyrm Dragon a flying based unit So, a rare card in the rebellion pack a flying unit with immunity, It has high defense, health 11, and armor 6, only deals 2 magic damage. However, its defensive ability makes up for it, a well-rounded card

• ABILITIES

Armored Strike is all about using your armor as extra weapons, like gauntlets, shields, helmets, and physical features like spikes and tough shells. Corrosive Ward melts your attackers into acidic goo by damaging their armor and reducing their max armor. Flank lets your first and second units team up to take down the enemy tank with the Reach ability. Lookout keeps your allies safer by reducing damage from sneak attackers.

Been anticipating this new Rebellion update and I can say it's really nice , the game is a lot more strategic and tactical than it used to be, challenging equals excitement for me, camt wait to delve deeper into the splinter world and see what strategy works best for me, so far still beating around the bush to see what works best cause everything I used doesn't work jack in this new gameplay.

CONCLUSION
