What we think, how we feel?
Must there be a secret to me
I'm forced to hide?
I won't pretend that I'm
Someone else for all time
When will my reflection show
Who I am inside?
This is just a beautiful piece of Reflection by Christina Aguilera, one of my favorites among her songs.
Like everyone else, there are times when I have to be someone else hiding the real me. I cannot deny that. It's because I feel like if I show people the real me, they wouldn't believe me. How much more are my true feelings and thoughts when even my words are doubted by some? You may know my name, but you don't know who I really am because I usually hide my true reflection. Yet even if we cover up our reflections, people would still criticize us, right? This is unavoidable because we have no control over their minds. So most prefer to just hide in their beehive.
You can judge me if you want. You can spread rumors about me if you want. But make sure it is true enough and have read the story through a different lens. Because we must do that and should not base our judgment solely on one story. Do you even form your own opinions, or are you only influenced by those of others? Who are we to judge if we don't know the true whole story?
It isn't just me who hides real reflection, you do as well at some point in your life. Sometimes we simply want to hide our true emotions from our loved ones so they wouldn't be concerned about us. Sometimes we are doing things we don't truly like, just so our family will be proud of us. I bet many can relate to this part, right?
When will our real reflections show? Why do we need to conceal our real us? Why do people always judge? Why is it so hard to be accepted?
We all have different answers and opinions. Whatever it is, you are free to either reveal or hide it.
These were just my thoughts when I see people's reflections in the glass beehive. We don't know who is real and who are those concealing their real selves.

I agree most of us have some reflections that we don't show to everyone. It's all up to what we feel comfortable sharing. Best of luck on the contest :)

Until you know the true side of someone´s story, do not go about judging them based on your own perception of them. Everyone hides the real them and it is not for another to start judging and criticizing when you haven´t known the real self.
Also, some people find it fun to speak rumors about others and even add what they do not know to it, and they think it´s good. Everyone has their problems and why we do things.
I know a group and seems like it becomes their daily habit, to gossip about other people. What is annoying is when they will ask something just so they have something to talk about.
The main reason I don't like staying in the group is I don't like talking nonsense stuff. There are better things to do in life than doing such... !LADY

I agree with you Miss Jane. Everyone has their own stories and battles, we don't have to judge everyone based on our own perspective about them. We have no right to judge unless you have in the same shoe.
True.. We can give opinions, but not judge...especially when we don't know the whole story..

Great reflections and your thoughts behind them are so true. I often behave in such a way to please others, so that everyone would be calm and happy, and sometimes I hide my emotions and keep them to myself so as not to worry others or be judged, but I'm a bit tired of that...
Of course, it can get tiring...we all just want to normally live..but sometimes, worried about being judged so we tend to hide our real us..
