Argao's best | the most famous cafe in town

Hey Hivers, if you happen to visit Argao,Ake sure to visit Alex Kafe, just right across the Argao shrine.



Before we even plan where the destination of our summer outing is, the committee who's in charge of this event already searched the best places worth visiting. Since it is inevitable that we passed by Argao to visit Alcoy, the committee decided that we stop over in this cafe for lunch.

From the city, it takes about 2 and a half hours to get here. I didn't really feel the long hours of travel because our colleague played great music inside the car. Apparently, she has a ready-made playlist of acoustic Bisaya songs. I realized that there are indeed alot of emerging local artist with great songs. I've attached one song below.

Now back to our trip, we were the last batch to arrive in the cafe so they jokingly tease us to have a dance number as punishment haha.

Interior inside the cafe is very cozy with photographs of Argao. How I wish I know the story behind this cafe, or perhaps how it started. But unfortunately, there's no sign anywere.


I ordered their pork tonkatsu bowl and pineapple mango shake. Nothing much special about their menu only that I find it a lot cheaper compared to prices in the city cafes. Plus the serving size is proportionate too.


In their mini balcony, they planted some ornaments which truly adds in the alfresco feeling of the place. Should you want to eat in the balcony, there are tables for dinning too.

After lunch, we stayed a bit in the cafe as the weather outside was in total tropical. We didn't want to go outside yet but to maximize our outing, we forced ourselves to move from one location to another.
