I had my birthday a month ago...

There were no photos, no messages, just silence...

I wanted to share this from the woman (myself) who keeps learning, making mistakes, starting over and enjoying the road much more.

A month ago our territorial floor Venezuela shook, and I don't just mean the floor. Everything definitely moved, a lot broke down and we are still trying to process what happened. A lot of death, destruction and suffering was generated. But it was not the only thing, I also saw solidarity, humanity and hope in the middle of the darkness. And in the end, those little flashes keep the faith alive in me, that from this we will also rise.

But getting up is not an automatic process, for those of us who lost family members, assets or simply for those who were exposed to critical moments of life and death, this will take time. It is possible to heal, but not to forget. I am sure that this is not something that will be erased from our memory and we must understand that it will require a process to get back together.

It is easy to keep the most devastating part of what we have experienced, there are plenty of reasons to notice it. However, based on what I have seen in supporting those who have lived the worst part, I can tell you that there are also many reasons to believe in the Venezuelan's ability to heal, recover and rebuild. It still sounds early, and we have a long way to go, but let's not lose sight that united we will also rise from this.

From here I send a hug to everyone who felt that their life moved after this event. My prayers and my heart are with those who are not with us today, but my embrace and presence will be for those who struggle to stay on their feet.

The beginning of a new week has arrived, by the way the last week of the month of July 2026, and maybe this week will leave us tired, doubts or emotions that I still don't think we can sort out. I think it's just time to live one day at a time.

Sometimes we think that working is simply stopping, maybe taking action, but we also rest or take action when we talk about what is weighing us down, understand what we are experiencing and find a direction.

We don't have to solve everything today.

But we can make a decision that brings us closer to well-being to feel better. I think that faith does not prevent storms, but it helps us to transit, accept and learn to live with them, and gives us the strength to go through them. And although many things happen in the world, many of them are in our gaze.
If our gaze changes... the world also changes…

Sometimes we see ourselves as we were seen (or not seen) by some of the most significant people in life. Sometimes we see others as we see ourselves... There are lights that never go out.

At least, I always stick with the beautiful... Hopefully these reflections will find a place in your heart too💫

I'm so sorry for what happened in Venezuela. Your words reminded me that even after such a painful event, people can still find strength in kindness and hope. I really liked your message about taking things one day at a time because healing doesn't happen overnight. Wishing you, your community, and everyone affected continued strength and brighter days ahead. 💙

and by the way, that's a beautiful cake! i think i have that as an inspo on my pinterest pins

Thank you very much @izzy-daily , unfortunately this happened and there is still a lot of national dream. They say out there that Living requires being willing to face adversity. Hugs, good start of the week 🤗

Happy belated Birthday @janitzearratia! The cake looks so pretty. And yummy too!

My prayer have gone out to the people of Venezuela. It does seem the international did come to aid. Not sure if it is enough though. My heart is with you all.

Thank you for your kind words. A month after the earthquakes, they are days that invite us to be reborn🔥🔥. I just wish that the collective grief is light for us, that we accompany each other being near or far 🤍
