LOH299 || Footprints... that reconstructs my perspective of life...

Not everything is in a straight line, when my closest friends leave deep footprints, in the end, life is not measured by the things we accumulate, but by the memories we build together.

There really are women, for whom life turned out almost nothing in a straight line. They loved, they made a mistake, they trusted again, they had to start over and still retained the ability to open the heart.

And that, far from seeming like a weakness to me, seems to me an enormous form of courage.
Anyone can have an opinion from the outside about another woman's decisions. The difficult thing is to have been inside that story, to have sustained its silences, to have known its nights and to have had to decide when to continue and when to accept that it was no longer possible.

We have been taught to admire permanence, but we rarely wonder what emotional price was paid for it.

Not everything that lasts is healthy. Not everything that ends was a mistake. And not every woman who starts over is repeating a story; many times she is showing that she still believes that her life can feel better.

There is a profound dignity in not turning a past promise into a future condemnation. In recognizing that a decision could have made sense years ago and stop making it today. In not remaining only to avoid the judgment of those who do not know the complete truth.

I don't measure a woman's life by the number of times she had to rebuild herself.

I measure her by the honesty with which she decided to live each stage and by the courage she had not to give up on herself.

I share this reflection we are no longer to live as emotional bonsai!!
