People are stronger than they look ...

From the bottom of the sea, we always come out swimming and pushing ourselves hard with our legs using the fucking, and fucking bottom.
I just ask God to bless all those affected by the earthquakes this past June 24, and God enlighten us, I also lost a good part of my maternal family, and life friends also in the earthquake this June 24, after this great tragedy, what is coming is very difficult, we have to fight a lot for the affected children, they are our children literally speaking.
When you help another, you help yourself.
Believe it or not, when you help someone else, you often end up helping yourself. This happens because we put life in perspective, suddenly we see things differently. When we stop thinking about ourselves for a moment, and you listen to the other, suddenly your problems can become less burdensome.
I want to make it clear that I am not promoting that you evade your problems by helping others. It's about understanding how when you are very focused on yourself sometimes the discomfort increases significantly. Looking around unintentionally relieves us, and a lot. Suddenly we see that our problems matter but they are not the only ones, that there are situations that others live that can make us value episodes of our life.
I also see these days how those people who help, who collaborate, experience less frustration or unpleasant feelings than those who stay at home scrolling on their cell phone. Sometimes, those who expose themselves to the pain of the other but fail to transform it into actions are deeply affected. there are hours when talking about happiness seems obscene, hours when the country is left on its knees, hours when death does not come as a metaphor, but as rubble, as a collapsed hospital, as dust in the mouth, as a mother shouting a name in the ruins, but in man, as Albert Camus says: there are more things worthy of admiration than contempt.
There are many heartbreaking stories that we can share, however, no one recovers from the horror. I don't want to simplify it even by saying things like “everything happens for a reason”, surely whoever lived this didn't want to go through there. However, I see people who, even after losing their home and their loved ones, show the ability to recover.
This path is not the same for everyone, this path has taken us to the limit, but from the place where each one is, a healing process will come. There is no recipe or a common stick, but what I do want to emphasize is that not everything is pain, there is also hope, and I will keep talking about it because hope is not an empty word that seeks a forced smile in the midst of pain. Hope is knowing that with everything and pain we have the conviction that we will be able to recover, doing what is necessary.
Let us have the courage to see in the eyes of the one who suffers a human being capable of healing and inspiring. Life is literally a constant circle of losing your spark and finding it again. Over and over again. Let's keep helping today, we will need each other for a long time.

The people of Venezuela have been in my thoughts. Do agree that listening to and helping others sometimes puts ones own problems in perspective.
