Stinginess, it lives in the wallet ...

There are moments in life when we feel that everything that supported us disappears at the same time.

The children leave, the job ends, someone we love dies, the couple's relationship changes and, suddenly, one is left without an apartment, without a routine and without knowing what to do with their days.

And when no one needs us in the same way anymore, we can make the mistake of thinking that we have also lost our value.

But our value was never in being indispensable to others. What happens is that for many years we got used to recognizing ourselves through what we did for others: caring, working, resolving, accompanying, sustaining.

When those roles change, it's not just life that changes. The idea we had of ourselves is also moving.

There are people who are not bad... but love in savings mode…

They give you 12% attention, affection with consumption limit and details only when there is a promotion. And when you ask for a little more presence, they look at you as if you were trying to undermine the relationship. 😂

Generosity is not about wasting money or paying for absolutely everything. It has to do with the ability to share without making the other person feel guilty for receiving.

A generous person can have little and still make you feel welcome, taken into account and cared for.

Stinginess, on the other hand, almost never stays still in the wallet. He gets into the calls, the gestures, the words and the effort. Everything becomes a negotiation about who looked for whom, who gave the most, who did the last detail and who it is up to now, to make the effort to get the money out of the wallet.

Love shouldn't work as an account receivable.

When someone loves by counting every thing they give, sooner or later one ends up feeling that we should thank even the smallest gesture... as if affection came financed at 36 installments, or that we are considered climbers because we like to eat a lot, well and tasty on first dates...moments like that, I still haven't found how to put it, in words... It's kind of like having a stingy love by our side lol. These people walk around with their pockets and their affection measured, something similar to asking for a glass and two straws on a date.

The person who is stingy * is NOT stingy only financially, it is in every way*. Generosity in human beings is a non-negotiable value. There are ushers and men who, when they have to take out their wallets, make faces as if they were extracting an organ or they will lack the vital oxygen to breathe.

Starting a new relationship can also mean making safe and different decisions. Because the economic is still always the factor of discord in a relationship.
