Good morning to all anime lovers, this time I come to talk about the word of the lord, sorry, of Bokurano.

Spoiler alert: this thing is too good, traumatic and with touches of desperation, so in terms of dose of hysterical moments, it will give you many.

• But what's the series about, from what I appreciate is it about robots or not?

At first glance the cover is somewhat misleading and you will think it's just a giant robot and fight for medals (medabots) because of the childish tone of the design.

But in the big picture, things are darker than they appear.

Although it appears to be an evangelion type series of (get in the robot shinji), honestly the sense of chaos is way beyond the norm.

I mean, in evangelion they get on a robot every day and confront the angels...but Bakurano. Oh god, it's walking depression on wheels.

The plot is that a group of 15 teenagers were conned into a game, unfortunately it's not a game, each of them is the pilot of the robot in question.

but are you telling me that every child will be given a robot to fight with?

The answer is No.

The thing is that before starting a duel (and the enemy robot teleports to your city), one of the guys is chosen at random as if it were a Russian roulette (i.e. a revolver spinning), only that in question, each empty chair that represents an individual character, is the box where the chosen one will fall.

And what's wrong with being a pilot?

Well, that is the suspense of the series, to know who will be chosen in each battle.

Unfortunately, whoever is the pilot of the robot (whether he wins or loses the battle against the rival), his life will be consumed instantly, as the machine absorbs his vital energy to function in each duel.

This literally makes whoever continues in this Russian roulette of pilot choice, panic knowing that he will die.

By the way the chosen pilot will know it is him, when some tattoo manifests itself somewhere on his body, marking him as the next sacrifice to die.

This stress before the election and in the middle of the fight is what moves the axis of the whole series.

Making Shinji's problems from Evangelion become a minor detail, compared to every personal drama of these protagonists.

It must be said that each pilot is different, so the robot works differently with each being that handles it, some will find it almost impossible to move the robot and others will find it easier.

It depends a lot on their mental strength and how they face the problem, but in general everyone will have their moment to fall or to shine, depending on how they accept their deaths.

Another interesting fact that is revealed near the end of the series, is that the enemies they fight (i.e. the opposing robot), also have pilots who are kids in their cockpit.

So every time they kill the opposing robot's core, they are killing all of its pilots in one blow.

Another super spoiler is that this is really about mass annihilation.

According to the rules of the tournament, (which are revealed near the end) each robot represents an alternate universe, i.e. parallel worlds, and when the robot loses, not only the pilots die, but they take all of humanity with a massive annihilation in the style of the end of Evangelion.

Making the burden of having won fall on the morale of the winners, "to learn that they have annihilated alternate universes and millions of people without knowing it".

And then putting even more stress by forcing them to win knowing that their entire world depends on their victory on the battlefield.

In itself the series is full of plot twists, enemies and even deeper plots of those mentioned, so in matters of entertainment this series is undoubtedly a (blade over the veins inciting despair) to know what happens to its protagonists.

Wrapping you in every fight and every personal story of each of its pilots, as well as all the tangled plot of the universes and total annihilation.

Without a doubt, if you're feeling bored in an afternoon, simply watch a marathon of this series that will undoubtedly fill you up quite a bit in terms of keeping you hooked to your seat.

Muy buenas a todos los amantes del anime, en esta ocacion vengo hablarles de la palabra del señor, perdon, de Bokurano.

Alerta de spoiler: esta cosa es demasiado buena, traumatica y con toques de desesperación, así que en cuanto a dosis de momentos de histeria, te dará muchos.

Pero de que va la serie, por lo que aprecio es de robots o no?

A primer vista la caratula es algo engañosa y pues pensaras que es simplemente subirte a un robot gigante y pelear por meda medallas (medabot) por el tono infantil del diseño.

Pero a grandes rasgos la cosa es mas oscura de lo que aparenta.

Aunque parece ser una serie tipo evangelion de (subete al eva shinji), honestamente la sensación de caos es mucho mas allá de lo normal.

Es decir, en evangelion se suben a un robot todos los dias y enfrentan a los dichosos angeles...pero Bakurano. Oh dios, es la depresión andante sobre ruedas.

La trama es que un grupo de 15 adolescentes fueron timados para entrar a un juego, desdichadamente No es un juego, cada uno de ellos es el piloto del robot en cuestión.

¿pero me estas diciendo que a cada niño le darán un robot para pelear?

La respuesta es No.

La cosa es que antes de iniciar un duelo ( y que el robot enemigo se teleporte a tu ciudad), uno de los chicos es elegido al azar como si se tratase de una ruleta rusa (osea un revolver con un tambor girando), solo que en cuestion, cada silla vacia que representa de forma individual a un personaje, es la casilla donde caera el premio.

¿Y que tiene de malo ser piloto?

Pues en eso radica el suspenso de la serie, saber quien sera elegido en cada batalla.

Por desgracia quien sea el piloto del robot (asi gane o pierda la batalla contra el rival), su vida sera consumida al instante, pues la maquina absorbe su energía vital para funcionar en cada duelo.

Haciendo que literalmente quien siga en esta ruleta rusa de elección de piloto, entre en pánico al saber que morirá.

Por cierto el piloto elegido sabrá que es el, cuando algún tatuaje se manifieste en alguna parte de su cuerpo, marcándolo como el próximo sacrificio para morir.

Este estrés antes de la elección y en medio del combate es lo que mueve el eje de toda la serie.

Haciendo que los problemas de Shinji de evangelion pasen a ser un por menor, comparado con cada drama personal de estos protagonistas.

Cabe decir que cada piloto es distinto, asi que el robot funciona diferente con cada ser que lo maneja, algunos se les hará casi imposible mover el robot y otros se les facilitara.

Depende mucho de su fuerza mental y como afronte el problema, pero por lo general todos tendrán su momento de caer o de brillar, dependiendo de como acepten sus muertes.

Otro dato interesante que se revela casi al final de la serie, es que los enemigos con quienes pelean (osea el robot oponente), también tiene pilotos que son chicos en su cabina.

Así que cada vez que matan el núcleo del robot rival, están matando de un solo golpe a todos sus pilotos.

Otro super spoiler es que en verdad esto se trata es de una aniquilación masiva.

Según las reglas del torneo, (que revelan casi al final) cada robot representa un universo alterno, Osea mundos paralelos, y cuando el robot pierde, no solo los pilotos mueren, si no que se llevan a toda la humanidad con una aniquilación masiva al estilo final de evangelion.

Haciendo que el peso de haber ganado recaiga en la moral de los ganadores, "al enterarse de que han aniquilado a millones de personas y universos alternos sin saberlo"

Y pues poniendo aun mas estrés por obligarlos a ganar al saber que todo su mundo depende de su victoria en el campo de batalla.

En si la serie esta lleno de giros argumentales, enemigos y tramas aun mas profundas de las mencionadas, asi que en cuestiones de entretenimiento esta serie es sin lugar a dudas una (cuchilla sobre las venas incitando a la desesperación) por saber que pasa con sus protagonistas.

Envolviéndote en cada pelea y cada historia personal de cada uno de sus pilotos, así como toda la enmarañada trama de los universos y la aniquilación total.

Sin duda alguna, si te sientes aburrido en una tarde, simplemente ve una maratón de esta serie que sin lugar a dudas te llenara bastante en cuestiones de mantenerte enganchado al asiento.
