Request for support for a Selfie community

IMG_0028.JPG

Hello all dear friends. I hope everyone is always in good health and always successful for all friends wherever you are.

On this wonderful occasion I, as the founder of this #selfie community, would like to introduce myself here.
I'm @jasonmunapasee who created this interesting community and it's also a place for those who love selfies.

I created this #selfie community because I remember that there are so many cellphone camera users and others.
They always take selfies, that's why I was inspired to create this very interesting community to entertain users on the amazing #hive platform.

We know that all camera users want to always take pictures of themselves, so they can post these pictures here.

We can post selfie photos here with various objects or nature even all beautiful and interesting places to see.
We also consider the photos taken by other people as selfies, like the post I did here.

So, as the founder of this community, I really hope for support from everyone on this #hive platform such as @ocd,@qurator,@curie,@neoxian and @minnowsupport and there are many others that I didn't mention.
Hopefully with your support, this community will grow.

Thanks.
Greetings from me as the founder of the #selfie community.

a piece of advice - dont buy a crop camera, buy a full-frame! thats the way for the real samurai xD

it is only one direction to go, bro.
compact cameras have their benefits too.
depends on a lot of moments. your decision should be based on money, camera price label, your style of photography, the results you want to get, etc etc etc. choose what is more appropriate for you, what suits you.
on my comment above, about the full-frame: this can be a huge help for your maturing as a photographer, for making a step forward and improving photographer skills. at least it worked for me that way, allowed me to start shooting manually, with manual vintage lens... etc. sadly, it all takes money investments into lens. getting more cheap and dated compact-camera - instead of a DSLR - MAY BE - a better, more beneficial way and still a step forward from smartphone photography. all the best, my best wishes to you, really. and I hope 0,5 price label will turn into 5,0 label... in a few years.

I thought full-frame era was ended a long time ago. I like small cameras more. Like fuji x100 or ricoh gr.

ricoh gr is a super option, could not but agree.

"era was ended" -- it depends on the point of view you take.

I admit you selection criteria migh be different. for example, I bought my full-frame camera for less than 300 dollars; now check how much a good compact camera costs today ... oh-oh-oh, seven members team hold me tight - it is 3-4k USD! plus a good lens for it at half that amount... then, consider for yourself what is more profitable to buy today: a fashionable compact camera of "this era" or a good proven camera with optics from the pre-previous era, for the reasonable money. or a good smartphone, haha....

Oh! I didn't know full frame is cheaper now. In this case you definitely right. Better to buy some old 5dmkii, than fancy compact camera. Smartphone is actually a good idea too!

I went with 1st version of 5d - which has no video options, pretty sadly - but at the time 5dmkii would cost me by 2 times more. now ofc it is much more available, even 5dmkiii has an acceptable price label... -- I'd resume in that way - the camera doesnt matter much, you can operate with a wide range of tools, but good lens arsenal is what matter, lens do nate date in the way that cameras do, right?.. but the most recent cameras editions have a crazy price label, partly because camera manufacturers produce and sell fewer cameras each year -> the market has shrunk, being squeezed by smartphones and compact cameras! - and because of this, fewer cameras -> each one is charged a bigger price. thats the logic behind it, as I see it. in the future, cameras will be sold at the price of "luxury products" ehehe...

Yeah, that's right.

then I also consider it as a Selfi.

"I think" will not change the definition of Selfi. We have photography community and instragram models community already.
