MUSIC: Three Tune Tuesday 149 (ENG/ESP) - 3 Songs on the Theme of “HIVE” (Hive Open Mic Week 208)

Hello everybody on HIVE, and especially the Music Community. My name is Jasper and I'm writing to you from Cape Town, South Africa!

Welcome to "Three Tune Tuesday", an initiative started by @ablaze. It is week 149 overall! My current pattern for how I will be contributing to TTT is to take the Hive Open Mic challenge Theme of the Week and give suggestions on how I would tackle it!

For those of you who are not familiar, the Hive Open Mic is a weekly challenge on the Hive Open Mic community for anybody who loves to sing. You don’t even need to play an instrument, a backing track or a cappella is also fine as far as I can tell!

Different artists are given the chance to choose a “Theme of the Week” that the posts should be based on. Often it can be difficult for people to think about easy songs that might fit that theme… so let me see if I can be of any assistance to the people who still might not know what to try by the time Tuesday comes around!

It was the turn of @zullyscott to pick a theme, and this week the theme is “HIVE”. That’s kind of turned the whole thing on its head! @zullyscott has been on Hive since 2017, and has an impressive reputation score of 77, so I assume she means this Hive blockchain we all know and love, but did she?

SONG NUMBER 1

“We are Family” – Sister Sledge

Assuming we are talking about the Hive blockchain, then one of the things I would like to point out is that it is still a relatively small world with only a few thousand active users. Because of this, it is quite likely that you know, and have become friends with, the people that have similar interests as you in the Communities you post in most often (in my case, Music, Music Zone, Hive Open Mic, Vibes, SurfHive, etc…)

This makes “We are Family” quite an appropriate song for Hive compared to much larger social media sites like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!

SONG NUMBER 2

“The Gambler” – Kenny Rogers

Well, we get paid out for our blogs/vlogs on the Hive blockchain in Hive/HP, which is very volatile, and in HBD which is much more tied to the Dollar and is therefore much more stable (and offers generous 20% interest if you put it in savings).

Because of this, there are some strategies and decisions you need to make, depending on your preference for risk and whether you will be around for several bull/bear cycles, or need to see growth in a shorter time frame.

You may also decide to try and sell Hive for HBD when the Hive price is relatively high, and then buy it back when the Hive price is relatively low. Even then, will you be doing this often based on minor fluctuations, or only during a proper bullish spike similar to the one in November 2021?

So, yes, you have got to “know when to hold them, know when to fold them” in the world of the Hive blockchain, and the strategy should be different depending on the person and their goals!

SONG NUMBER 3

“Queen Bee” – Taj Mahal

Well, what if @zullyscott actually wasn’t thinking about the Hive Blockchain at all? Or maybe she was thinking about the obvious connection to bees, even if she was? A lot of people make that conncetion, including the “Hivebuzz” project, as well as the “Busy Bees” Community that my friend @zakludick started.

So why not a good song about being a “Queen Bee”?

Bienvenidos a "Three Tune Tuesday", una iniciativa iniciada por @ablaze. ¡Es la semana 149 en total! Mi patrón actual sobre cómo contribuiré a TTT es tomar el tema de la semana del desafío Hive Open Mic y dar sugerencias sobre cómo lo abordaría.

Para aquellos de ustedes que no están familiarizados, Hive Open Mic es un desafío semanal en la comunidad de Hive Open Mic para cualquiera que ame cantar. ¡Ni siquiera necesitas tocar un instrumento, por lo que yo sé, una pista de acompañamiento o a capela también está bien!

Diferentes artistas tienen la oportunidad de elegir un “Tema de la semana” en el que se basarán las publicaciones. A menudo puede resultar difícil para las personas pensar en canciones sencillas que puedan encajar con ese tema... ¡así que déjenme ver si puedo ser de alguna ayuda para las personas que quizás todavía no sepan qué probar cuando llegue el martes!

Debido a esto, es muy probable que conozcas y te hayas hecho amigo de personas que tienen intereses similares a los tuyos en las comunidades en las que publicas con mayor frecuencia (en mi caso, Music, Music Zone, Hive Open Mic, Vibes, SurfHive, etc.)

¡Esto hace que “We are Family” sea una canción bastante apropiada para Hive en comparación con sitios de redes sociales mucho más grandes como Facebook, Instagram y Twitter!

Bueno, nos pagan por nuestros blogs/vlogs en la cadena de bloques Hive en Hive/HP, que es muy volátil, y en HBD, que está mucho más vinculado al dólar y, por lo tanto, es mucho más estable (y ofrece un generoso interés del 20% si lo pones en ahorros).

Debido a esto, hay algunas estrategias y decisiones que debes tomar, dependiendo de tu preferencia por el riesgo y de si estarás presente durante varios ciclos alcistas/bajistas, o si necesitarás ver crecimiento en un período de tiempo más corto.
