Arcane | Are we still sisters?

I think this is the second time I've watched Arcane, and just because I enjoyed it so much is why I'll review it, plus I watched it while playing LoL: Wild Rift, which is the phone version of LoL, and fuck, I watched a chapter between several games and had too much fun, even if I ended up losing many times because more bad people are playing than good people, but aha, this is not a release of the game, it's a release of the series, and I love it, I love it so much, it's always a good option to watch when you don't feel like watching something new, it always will be.

Arcane takes place in Piltover, a utopian city, while beneath them lies the old city of Zaun, The Undercity. The story revolves around Vi and her sister, Powder, now known as Jinx, while many characters and stories revolve around them, mingling, meddling, coming to form a knot almost impossible to let go of, impossible to know what will happen next, and it's so well done that even if we come to feel like we don't understand anything, we keep watching just to enjoy this wonderful creation.

Creo que esta es la segunda vez que veo Arcane, y solo por haberla disfrutado tanto es que le haré la reseña, además de que la vi mientras jugaba LoL: Wild Rift, que es la versión de LoL para teléfono, y joder, veía un capítulo entre varias partidas y me divertía demasiado, aunque terminara perdiendo muchas veces porque hay más gente mala jugando que gente buena, pero ajá, esta no es una publicación del juego, es una publicación de la serie, y la amo, la amo mucho, siempre es una buena opción para ver cuando no tienes ganas de ver algo nuevo, siempre lo será.

Arcane tiene lugar en Piltover, una ciudad utópica, mientras bajo ellos yace la vieja ciudad de Zaun, The Undercity. La historia gira en torno a Vi y su hermana, Powder, ahora conocida como Jinx, mientras muchos personajes e historias giran a su alrededor, mezclándose, entrometiéndose, llegando a formar un nudo casi imposible de soltar, imposible de saber qué será lo siguiente que pasará, y está tan bien hecho que aunque lleguemos a sentir que no entendemos nada, seguimos viendo solo para disfrutar de esta maravillosa creación.

As soon as I heard Powder singing in the first scene of the series I almost cried, but I was already sure that the series was going to be amazing, I already knew that I loved it and that I couldn't stop watching it until I finished it in one day. That song is too dark and beautiful, plus the scene in the background is heartbreaking and although we can guess what happens, we don't know for sure until the song ends, and only when it ends we are heartbroken and then we cry heartbreakingly.

The fact that the series came out in 3 acts made up of 3 episodes each act made me not watch the series from the first moment it came out, and after seeing so many posts here about Arcane made me stay away from the series even more. Yes I knew it was extremely good, yes I knew I was going to like it, but I was overloaded with so much information the first day of the premiere that I felt like I would get sick if I just got to watch the series in full swing, it was horrible, even after it was over I took 1 more to watch it after everyone else had forgotten about it so I could enjoy it without feeling like I had someone next to my ear whispering that I had to watch it or it would kill me.

Apenas escuché a Powder cantando en la primera escena de la serie casi lloro, pero ya tenía la seguridad de que la serie iba a ser increíble, ya sabía que la amaba y que no podría parar de verla hasta terminarla en un solo día. Esa canción es demasiado tétrica y hermosa, además de que la escena que tiene de fondo es desgarradora y aunque podemos llegar a suponer qué es lo que sucede, no lo sabemos con certeza hasta que la canción termina y solo cuando termina nos terminan de romper el corazón y ahí sí lloramos descorazonadamente.

El hecho de que la serie haya salido en 3 actos conformados por 3 capítulos cada acto hizo que no viera la serie desde el primer momento en el que salió, y después de ver tantas publicaciones aquí sobre Arcane hicieron que me alejara más aún de la serie. Sí, sabía que era extremadamente buena, sí, sabía que me iba a gustar, pero me sobrecargaron de tanta información el primer día del estreno que sentí que me enfermaría si tan solo llegaba a ver la serie en pleno auge, fue horrible, incluso después de que terminara me tomé 1 más en verla, después de que todo el mundo la hubiera olvidado para así poder disfrutarla sin sentir que tenía a alguien al lado de mi oído susurrando que tenía que verla o me mataría.

Sisisisisisi, I know the series has more characters than Vi and Jinx, but let me, my obsession with Arcane only exists for Jinx, not even for Vi, so before talking about them I'll talk about Jayce, a fucking heartless bastard that we all love no matter how bad he ends up being, I mean, you may be very beautiful and all, but none of that takes away the shitty person you end up being, what you did had no justification beyond wanting to keep increasing the level of your egocentrism and vanity, I liked you, then I hated you, and the last thing I'll say about you is that Victor and Jayce's fanfics shouldn't exist, because Victor deserves something much better, even if in the end he also ends up doing something wrong, but in his case it was involuntary, so he can be forgiven after all.

Yes, Arcane has a perfect animation, and yes, Arcane has a perfect OST, but I want to talk about the incredible character that is Jinx, although we know that there are more main characters, Jinx is the main character, at least for me, from the beginning is the first character we see, and the end is also with her; we accompany many other characters in their own stories, but they are secondary after all, the main thread will always be Vi and Jinx, but even Vi ends up hiding behind the shadow of Jinx. Jinx is tormented by her mind, by her past, by her heart, she is even tormented by her sister, and although the fantasies and almost hallucinations in which she lives are her greatest comfort, they end up becoming part of her torment again when her reality changes completely, when the lies come to light, and even then, it becomes impossible for Jinx to find a truth that helps her.

Sisisisisisi, sé que la serie tiene a más personajes que Vi y Jinx, pero dejénme, mi obsesión con Arcane solo existe por Jinx, ni siquiera por Vi, así que antes de hablar de ellas hablaré de Jayce, un maldito desgraciado sin corazón al que todos queremos sin importar que termine siendo muy malo, o sea, podrás ser muy hermoso y todo, pero nada de eso te quita lo mierda de persona que terminas siendo, lo que hiciste no tuvo justificación alguna más allá de querer seguir aumentando el nivel de tu egocentrismo y vanidad, me caías bien, después te odié, y lo último que diré sobre ti es que los fanfics de Victor y Jayce no deberían existir, pues Victor merece algo mucho mejor, aunque al final también termine haciendo algo indebido, pero en su caso fue involuntario, así que se le puede perdonar después de todo.

Sí, Arcane tiene una animación perfecta, sí, Arcane tiene un OST perfecto, pero yo quiero es hablar del increible personaje que es Jinx, si bien sabemos que hay más personajes protagonistas, Jinx es el personaje principal, al menos para mí, desde el inicio es al primer personaje que vemos, y el final también es con ella; acompañamos a muchos otros personajes en sus propias historias personales, pero son secundarias al fin y al cabo, el hilo principal siempre van a ser Vi y Jinx, pero incluso Vi termina ocultándose tras la sombra de Jinx. Jinx está atormentada por su mente, por su pasado, por su corazón, incluso es atormentada por su hermana, y aunque las fantasías y casi alucinaciones en las que vive son su mayor consuelo, terminan volviéndose parte de su tormento de nuevo cuando su realidad cambia por completo, cuando las mentiras salen a la luz, e incluso así, se le hace imposible a Jinx encontrar una verdad que la ayude.

This is a series of villains where by chance good people are trying to be heroes, we just have to see if they succeed or not, because reality is full of many things, except for pure intentions that succeed in pretending to be good. Here I leave you the trailer, you will like it, you will like it a lot, but go see the series, you will not regret it, but never play LoL, you will regret it.

Esta es una serie de villanos donde por casualidad se encuentran buenas personas tratando de ser héroes, solo nos queda ver si lo logran o no, pues la realidad está llena de muchas cosas, menos de intenciones puras que triunfan fingiendo ser buenas. Ahí les dejo el trailer, les gustará, les gustará mucho, pero vayan a ver la serie, no se van a arrepentir, eso sí, jamás jueguen LoL, de eso sí se van a arrepentir.
