Army of Thieves - Dieter stole my heart | Impressions and film review

Hello, living beings! I had completely forgotten that this movie was coming out this year I was expecting it for next year, but it was more than a pleasant surprise to find it on Netflix, so as I didn't feel like watching anything that demanded my attention excessively, I decided to watch Army of Thieves and I can say that it is the best cliché movie about robberies ever told, fuck, I started watching it just to not be doing nothing and I ended up almost crying for that completely predictable emotional ending, I loved it.

Army of Thieves is everything Army of the Dead could never be, never, Ludwig Dieter was my favorite character in Army of the Dead, and only because of him I finished watching it, and that they made him his movie is the best thing they could have done, although they already confirmed Planet of the Dead, or something like that is the sequel they will make I don't know when, but Dieter, my beloved Dieter deserved more and in this movie they do him justice, I love him.

A mí se me había olvidado por completo que esta película iba a salir este año, es más, la esperaba para el año que viene, pero fue más que una grata sorpresa encontrarla en Netflix, así que como no tenía ganas de ver nada que demandara mi atención excesivamente, decidí ver Army of Thieves y puedo decir que es la mejor película cliché sobre robos mejor contada, joder, la comencé a ver solo para no estar sin hacer nada y terminé casi que llorando por ese final emotivo completamente predecible, la amé.

Army of Thieves es todo lo que Army of the Dead nunca podrá llegar a ser, nunca, Ludwig Dieter fue mi personaje favorito en Army of the Dead y solo por él terminé de verla, y que le hayan hecho su propia película es la mejor cosa que pudieron haber hecho, aunque ya confirmaron Planet of the Dead, o algo así es la secuela que harán no sé cuándo, pero Dieter, mi amado Dieter merecía más y en esta película le hacen justicia, lo amo.

In fi, Gwendoline, played by my beloved Nathalie Emmanuel, who I must say I was surprised to see there, as I didn't remember seeing her in the actors that were going to be in the movie, will put Sebastian's safe-cracking skills to the test and see if he is worthy to join her team of bank robbers and look for the three Hans Wagner safes, open them and steal the money inside, of course, Sebastian is worthy and together, the five of them, as the group was 4 and only Sebastian was missing, go to rob those safes.

Veremos como Dieter; aunque primero conoceremos la vida del hombre detrás de Dieter, Sebastian Apellido Impronunciable e inescribible y me da flojera buscarlo para copiar y pegar, vida que será la más aburrida y rutinaria que podría tener, excepto por la mayor pasión de su vida, las cajas fuertes, en específico las de Hans Wagner: Rheingold, Valkyrie, Siegfried, Gotterdammerung, y una quinta caja fuerte de la cual no recuerdo el nombre y que debe tener su propia película también con Dieter buscándola.

En fi, Gwendoline, interpretada por mi amada Nathalie Emmanuel, que debo decir me sorprendió verla ahí, pues no recordaba verla en los actores que iban a estar en la película, pondrá aprueba las habilidades de Sebastian para abrir cajas de seguridad y ver si es digno de unirse a su equipo de ladrones de banco y buscar las tres cajas de Hans Wagner, abrirlas y robar el dinero en su interior, claro está que Sebastian es digno y juntos, los cinco, pues el grupo era de 4 y solo faltaba Sebastian, van a robar esas cajas fuertes.

It's just that from the first few minutes where we will see Sebastian record videos talking about Hans Wanger, the life he had, and his ultimate inspiration to create the safes, upload the videos to Youtube and not even get a single view, fuck, from that moment on I started laughing and already knew I would love the movie, and I did, I love it completely.

You may not like it, you most likely will, but what you're going to have to accept is that it's better entertainment than its predecessor, first, because the performances are decent, extremely decent, if we compare them to Army of the Dead, which are complete shit, second, the story of Hans Wagner, the connections with Richard Wagner, the fact that Sebastian listens to the right operas when he is opening each of the safes, and that he tells us the story of The Ring of the Nibelung in parts properly as he prepares to open them, that is, it's a marvel not to be missed.

El resto es historia, pero una historia que está contanda como el mejor chisme que jamas vas a escuchar, y aunque ya hay miles de chismes iguales, este va a ser único, especial y lo atesorarás por siempre, y estarás en eterna gratitud de que te lo hayan contado. Es que desde los primeros minutos donde veremos a Sebastian grabar videos hablando sobre Hans Wanger, la vida que tuvo, y su inspiración final para crear las cajas fuertes, subir los videos a Youtube y no tener ni siquiera una sola vista, joder, desde ese momento comencé a reírme y ya sabía que amaría la película, y así fue, la amo por completo.

Es posible que no les guste, es muy probable que sí, pero lo que van a tener que aceptar es que es un mejor entretenimiento que su predecesora, primero, porque las actuaciones son decentes, extremadamente decentes, si las comparamos con Army of the Dead, que son una completa mierda, segundo, la historia de Hans Wagner, las conecciones con Richard Wagner, el hecho de que Sebastian escuche las operas correctas cuando está abriendo cada una de las cajas fuertes, y que nos cuente la historia de The Ring of the Nibelung por partes adecuadamente mientras se prepara para abrirlas, o sea, es una maravilla que no deben perderse.

They embellished the story of simple bank robberies so well that they took it to a level that no other film has achieved, at least for me, plus Matthias Schweighöfer's performance is perfect for the character, plus he directed the film himself, and I just remembered the character from another series who is in the same situation as Sebastian/Dieter, from having a normal and boring life to going to rob banks just for the honor of being able to find the works of the artist he admires the most in the world, that is, Dieter fulfilled the dream that every fanboy and fangirl has, it's the perfect fanfiction where all his wishes are fulfilled, and you have no idea how I laugh writing this.

I didn't see it, and I said spoilers, but I don't care, you have to see the movie anyway, it's a thousand times better than Army of the Dead, there's no doubt about that, and you won't be disappointed at all, the movie got my attention so much that I grabbed my phone just for a minute and had to go back that minute in the movie because I didn't want to and couldn't miss anything.

Adornaron tan bien la historia de unos simples robos a bancos que la llevaron a un nivel que ninguna otra película ha logrado, al menos para mí, además de que la actuación de Matthias Schweighöfer es perfecta para el personaje, además de que él mismo dirigió la película, y acabo de recordar al personaje de otra serie que está en la misma situación que Sebastian/Dieter, de tener una vida normal y aburrida, a irse a robar bancos solo por el honor de poder encontrarse con las obras del artista que más admira en el mundo, o sea, Dieter cumplió el sueño que todo fanboy y fangirl tienen, es el fanfiction perfecto donde todos sus deseos se cumplen, y no tienen idea de cómo me río escribiendo esto.

¡Ahí les dejo el trailer! No lo vi, y dije spoilers, pero no me importa, tienen que ver la película de todas formas, es mil veces mejor que Army of the Dead, de eso no hay duda alguna, y no se van a decepcionar en absoluto, la película captó tanto mi atención que agarré mi teléfono solo durante un minuto y tuve que retroceder ese minuto en la película porque no me quería ni podía perderme de nada.
