Skins - Generation 2 | Eff? Who's Eff?

I have too many mixed feelings about this generation, and to this day my dyslexia is horrible and I'm writing worse than normal, so forgive me for all the little mistakes you find here. This generation is the most disastrous, out-of-control, alcoholic, sexual, drug-addicted generation of them all. I don't know if I hate it more than I love it, or if I love it more than I hate it, but that it's good, it's good, there's no doubt about that.

This generation has the same premise as the previous one, teenagers exploring what love is, their sexuality, and who they are or who they want to become in life. This generation is chaos, I think they are the ones who best played teenagers in Skins because I don't have how to define them in one way, they have thousands of stages they go through where they become good and bad people, here the characters are shown more real, with all the good and bad that implies, and that's why I don't know how to feel about this generation.

In this generation, we will have Effy, JJ, Panda, Emily, Naomi, Katie, Cook, Freddy, Thomas, and several more characters that I'm too lazy to comment on at the moment. I hate Cook, and Katie, ya, I said it, just as in the last generation I hated Tony and Sketch, here it's Cook and Katie who deserve to be despised ad infinitum, although as I said, all the characters here will do things that will give them any kind of pride to remember, they are good people in general, instead of those two? I hate them.

Tengo demasiados sentimientos encontrados con esta generación, y al parecer este día mi dislexia está horrible y estoy escribiendo peor de lo normal, así que me perdonan todos los pequeños errores que encuentren aquí. Esta generación es la más desastroza, descontrolada, alcohólica, sexual y drogadicta de todas. No sé si la odio más de lo que la amo, o si la amo más de lo que la odio, pero de que es buena, es buena, no hay duda de eso.

Esta generación tiene la misma presmisa que la anterior, adolescentes explorando lo que es el amor, su sexualidad, y quienes son o quienes quieren llegar a ser en la vida. Esta generación es un caos total, creo que son quienes mejores hicieron de adolescentes en Skins, porque no tengo como definirlos de una forma, tienen miles de etapas por las que pasan donde llegan a ser buenas y malas personas, aquí los personajes se muestran más reales, con todo lo bueno y lo malo que eso implica, y por eso es que no sé cómo sentirme sobre esta generación.

En esta geenración tendremos a Effy, JJ, Panda, Emily, Naomi, Katie, Cook, Freddy, Thomas, y varios personajes más que me da flojera comentar por los momentos. Odio a Cook, y a Katie, ya, lo dije, así como en la generación pasada odié a Tony y a Sketch, aquí son Cook y Katie quienes merecen ser despreciados hasta el infinito, aunque como dije, todos los personajes aquí harán cosas que los darán ningún tipo de orgullo recordar, pero son buenas personas en general, en cambio ellos dos... Los odio.

Effy is my favorite character in this second generation, if Kaya did excellent in the first generation as Tony's sister, this time she ends up making Troy burn being the main character, she is shit, although she is a very good and misunderstood shit that you end up loving because it is impossible to hate her, I think she is the only character of that type in the whole Skins series that you can't hate her even if you want to or at least the concept on which the character was created, it's weird, you have to watch the whole series to understand that.

After Effy, my favorite character of the second generation is Naomi, and after Naomi is Naomi's mom, who is no one else but Olivia Colman, that is, that woman appears in a single episode of the third and fourth seasons, which are the seasons corresponding to the second generation, and in that single episode that woman wins the love of everyone, many people already wish we had a person like this character in our lives.

This generation is like an itch all over the body, from which you just enjoy scratching, but there comes a time when despair makes an appearance and never leaves again. This generation is exhaustive, the drama never ends, and even though I love drama, it overwhelms me and my brain goes blank, just as it happened to be the first time, after watching this generation I was left with no energy, no desire to do anything, with a feeling not of emptiness, but as if something was missing and I didn't know what.

Effy es mi personaje favorito en esta segunda generación, si Kaya lo hizo excelente en la primera generación como hermana de Tony, esta vez termina de hacer que arda Troya siendo un personaje principal, es una mierda, aunque es una mierda muy buena e incomprendida a la que se termina queriendo porque es imposible odiarla, creo que es el único personaje de ese tipo en toda la serie de Skins que no se le puede odiar aunque se quiera hacerlo, o al menos el concepto sobre el cual se creó el personaje, es raro, tiene que ver la serie completa para entender eso.

Después de Effy, mi personaje favorito de la segunda generación es Naomi, y después de Naomi es la mamaá de Naomi, quien no es nadie más que Olivia Colman, o sea, esa mujer aparece en un solo capítulo de la tercera y la cuarta temporada, que son las temporadas correspondientes a la segunda generación, y en ese solo capítulo esa mujer se gana el amor de todo el mundo, muchas personas ya quisiéramos tener una persona como este personaje en nuestras vidas.

Esta generación es como una picazón en todo el cuerpo, de la cual solo se disfruta el hecho de rascarse, pero llega un momento en el que la desesperación hace acto de presencia y no se va nunca más. Esta generación es exhaustiva, el drama nunca se acaba, y aunque yo amo el drama, me abruma y mi cerebro se queda en blanco, así como me pasó la primera vez, después de ver esta generación quedé sin energía, sin ganas de hacer nada, con una sensación no de vacío, pero como si algo faltara y no supiera qué.

That's one of the things I dislike about the first two generations, there is a death, and although in the first generation it is explored a bit what that can cause, in the second generation it is not so, and I don't know if they didn't explore that part because they didn't want to distort the concept of adolescent madness that characterizes the series, but they missed many opportunities to improve the characters a thousand times, to give them a maturity that they don't have and that they urgently need.

That is one of the reasons why the third generation is hated among its fans, I love the third generation above all, and that is why it is hated, it is more real, and the characters resemble real people, although I am not going to talk much about this because I have to make the publication of the third generation and I still have time to do it.

En esta generación hay una muerte, al igual que en la primera generación, al igual que en la tercera generación, y me cayó muy mal esta generación porque la muerte fue tan ignorada, o sea, sucedió y no pasó nada, y cuando finalmente sucede algo ya es el último capítulo y nos dejan con el nudo en la garganta sin saber qué hacer.

Esa es una de las cosas que me disgusta de las dos primeras generaciones, hay una muerte y aunque en la primera generación se explora un poco lo que eso puede llegar a causar, en la segunda generación no es así, y no sé si no exploraro esa parte porque no querían desvirtuar el concepto de locura adolescente que caracteriza a la serie, pero se perdieron de muchas oportunidades de mejorar mil veces a los personajes, de darles una madurez que no tienen y que necesitan con urgencia.

Esa es una de las razones por la que la tercera generación es odiado entre sus fanáticos, yo amo la tercera generación por encima de todas, y es por eso que es odiada, es más real, los personajes de verdad se asemejan a personas reales, aunque de esto no voy a hablar mucho porque tengo que hacer la publicación de la tercera generación y todavía me falta tiempo.

In this generation, we are going to see a greater presence of the consequences of mental illness, although in the first generation we have Cassie and no one beats her in being bad, Effy will have a moment too strong where she will be interned in the same mental institution as Cassie, and it's horrible, I don't want to say too much about it, but Effy didn't deserve that, no one should go through that.

Here I come to say again that Cook is a completely despicable character and her development is only for the worse, but she still has some good in her, and even though it's not much, that makes her character one of the best no matter what, Cook is part of the seventh season in the two Rise episodes, and it's the redemption she was missing, there she changes completely and finally realizes that her actions have consequences.

Despite how weird this generation is, all the bad things they will do, how unstable they are, and the unnecessary and energy-draining drama for anyone who watches it, it's worth it, I like it, it's not my favorite generation, but it has my second favorite of the whole series, which is Effy, and I can't despise her for the world.

En esta generación vamos a ver una mayor presencia de las consecuencias de las enfermedades mentales, aunque en la primera generación tenemos a Cassie y nadie le gana a ella en estar mal, pero Effy tendrá un momento demasiado fuerte donde estará internada en la misma institución mental que Cassie, y es horrible, no quiero decir mucho de eso, pero Effy no se merecía eso, nadie debería pasar por eso.

Aquí vengo a decir de nuevo que Cook es un personaje completamente despreciable y su desarrollo solo es para mal, pero aún así tiene algo de bueno, y aunque no es mucho, eso hace que su personaje sea uno de los mejores sin importar qué, Cook forma parte de la séptima temporada en los dos capítulos de Rise, y es la redención que le hacía falta, ahí cambia por completo y finalmente se da cuenta de que sus acciones tienen consecuencias.

A pesar de lo rara que es esta generación, de todas las cosas malas que harán, de lo inestables que son, del drama innecesario y que drena la energía de quien la ve, vale la pena, me gusta mucho, no es mi generación favorita, pero tiene a mi segundo favorito de toda la serie, que es Effy, y no puedo despreciarla por nada del mundo.
