BORN AGAIN

Hello Splinterlands friends, we continue another week sharing the secrets of the best wizards in the game. This week it's our turn to analyze one of the latest battle conditions released, Born Again.

Hola amigos de Splinterlands, seguimos otra semana más compartiendo los secretos de los mejores magos del juego. Esta semana nos toca analizar una de las últimas condiciones de batalla aparecidas, Born Again.

As usual in this type of posts, I will explain what this battle condition consists of, list some tips on how to use it and get good results with it in play, and finally share a battle with the condition in action.

Como es habitual en este tipo de posts, explicaré en qué consiste esta condición de batalla, enumeraré unos consejos para saber usarla y conseguir buenos resultados con ella en juego, y finalmente compartiré una batalla con la condición en acción.

Let's start by talking about what the Born Again condition consists of.

What is the "BORN AGAIN" condition?

When this condition is active and a monster dies, it will be resurrected with 1 health, it will be applied once per battle.

Cuando esta condición está activa y un monstruo muere, será resucitado con 1 de Vida, se aplicará una vez por batalla.

How to get advantage

Here are some tips that will be of great help to you:

• Since the appearance of cards with the Martyr ability this condition has become extremely powerful. We can use these cards to activate Martyr and power up our adjacent creatures several times, so if you have the possibility don't hesitate and use cards like Firecaller, Fungus Flinger or Venari Marksrat.
• I love using the summoner Grandmaster Rathe with this battle condition. When used in conjunction with cards with a lot of shield, all the damage goes to the shield and when resurrecting these creatures even if they have only 1 point of vitality, the shield is restored to its original value so the resurrected cards last longer on the battlefield.
• When this condition is in play, most players will use Quora Towershead to boost it to the maximum. Be careful with her and try to use a strategy to reduce her.
• Use cards with abilities like Tank Heal or Triage, they will help to heal the newly resurrected creatures that return to the battlefield with only 1 life point.

Cómo obtener ventaja

Aquí os dejo varios consejos que os serán de gran ayuda:

• Desde la aparición de cartas con la habilidad Martyr esta condición se ha vuelto extremadamente poderosa. Podemos usar estas cartas para activar Martyr y potenciar nuestras criaturas adyacentes varias veces, así que si tenéis la posibilidad no dudarlo y usar cartas como Firecaller, Fungus Flinger o Venari Marksrat.
• Me encanta usar al invocador Grandmaster Rathe junto a esta condición de batalla. Al usarlo junto con cartas con mucho escudo, todo el daño va al escudo y al resucitar estas criaturas aún teniendo 1 solo punto de vitalidad, el escudo se restaura a su valor original por lo que las cartas resucitadas aguantan más en el campo de batalla.
• Cuando esta condición está en juego, la mayoría de jugadores usarán a Quora Towershead para potenciarla al máximo. Mucho cuidado con ella e intentad usar una estrategia para reducirla.
• Usad cartas con habilidades como Tank Heal o Triage, ayudarán a curar a las criaturas recién resucitadas y que vuelven al campo de batalla con tan solo 1 punto de vida.

A Battle with "BORN AGAIN" condition

Most of the combats shared this week will be with Quora Towershead as the main character, but I wanted to do something different and I have shared one in which both my enemy and I play with the Death element and create different strategies to face the combat. The peculiarity of the combat is that the battle condition Explosive Weapondry is also active and we can control the situation a bit to place a card with Martyr and it activates quickly.

La mayoría de los combates compartidos esta semana serán con Quora Towershead como protagonista, pero he querido hacer algo diferente y he compartido uno en el que tanto mi enemigo como yo jugamos con el elemento Muerte y creamos diferentes estrategias para afrontar el combate. La peculiaridad del combate es que también está activo la condición de batalla Explosive Weapondry y podemos controlar un poco la situación para colocar a una carta con Martyr y que se active rápidamente.

0		We start with the summoner Thaddius Brood to play with the Death element. Comenzamos con el invocador Thaddius Brood para jugar con el elemento Muerte.
1		In first position he will place Harklaw a beast of a creature perfect for receiving enemy blows. En primera posición pondrá a Harklaw una bestia de criatura perfecta para recibir golpes enemigos.
2		Second position for Venari Marksrat to try to activate Martyr 2 times and boost adjacent creatures. Segunda posición para Venari Marksrat para intentar activar Martyr 2 veces y potenciar las criaturas adyacentes.
3		Life Sapper is a small creature but give it time and it will gain a lot of stamina. Life Sapper es una pequeña criatura pero darle tiempo y ganará mucha resistencia.
4		To protect my creatures I will use Ravenhood Warden for his Protect ability. Para proteger a mis criaturas usaré a Ravenhood Warden por su habilidad Protect.
5		Soul Strangler is another weak and low mana cost card but with an incredible ranged attack. Soul Strangler es otra carta débil y de bajo coste de maná pero con un increíble ataque a distancia.
6		Finally Weirding Warrior will try to destroy the enemy shield with his Shatter ability. Por último Weirding Warrior intentará destruir el escudo enemigo con su habilidad Shatter.

Round 1

My enemy doesn't play cards with Martyr, a mistake since with the battle conditions we have it's the best option. In the first turn the blows are directed to Harklaw who has Shield and withstands them but the damage of Blast goes to Venari Marksrat who already in the first turn is destroyed, 2 times activating Martyr for 2 times and making both Harklaw and Life Sapper increase their stats.

Mi enemigo no juego con cartas con Martyr, un error ya que con las condiciones de batalla que tenemos es la mejor opción. En el primer turno los golpes van dirigidos a Harklaw que tiene Shield y los aguanta pero el daño de Blast va a parar a Venari Marksrat que ya en el primer turno es destruida, 2 veces activando Martyr por 2 veces y haciendo que tanto Harklaw como Life Sapper incrementen sus estadísticas.

Round 2

Now really begins the agony of my rival, in turn 2 and with the cards boosted begin the hard blows that manage to destroy first Shadow Snitch 2 times and then Harklaw another 2 times. The enemy hardly does any damage to my cards.

Ahora de verdad empieza la agonía de mi rival, en el turno 2 y con las cartas potenciadas comienzan los duros golpes que consiguen destruir primero a Shadow Snitch 2 veces y después a Harklaw otras 2 veces. El enemigo apenas hace daño a mis cartas.

Round 3

I am unstoppable and in the third turn I destroy Venari Bonesmith 2 times, Ravenhood Warden another 2 times and once Soul Strangler who resurrects but can no longer attack in first position. The match is decided.

Estoy imparable y en el tercer turno destruyo a Venari Bonesmith 2 veces, Ravenhood Warden otras 2 veces y una vez a Soul Strangler que resucita pero ya no puede atacar en primera posición. El combate está decidido.

Round 4

In the fourth and last turn I ended up quickly destroying what little the enemy has on the battlefield, Soul Strangler and Corpse Fiend. A very simple combat with a good strategy that has paid off.

En el cuarto y último turno termino destruyendo rápidamente a lo poco que tiene el enemigo en el campo de batalla, Soul Strangler y Corpse Fiend. Un combate muy sencillo y con una buena estrategia que ha dado resultado.

My opinion

In a combat with the battle condition Born Again we must think carefully where to place each of our creatures. The secret of success lies in anticipating the enemy and knowing what moves he is going to make or which creatures he will try to attack first to reinforce them. Knowing how to place the creature that has the Martyr ability is fundamental to strengthen and improve our other creatures.

En un combate con la condición de batalla Born Again debemos pensar detenidamente donde colocar cada una de nuestras criaturas. El secreto del éxito radica en anticiparnos al enemigo y saber que movimientos va a realizar o a qué criaturas intentará atacar primero para reforzarlas. Saber colocar la criatura que tiene la habilidad Martyr es fundamental para potenciar y mejorar nuestras otras criaturas.
