Hello Splinterlands friends, one more week comes the weekly Splinterlands challenge and this time it's time to talk about the Even Stevens battle condition.

We will see what this condition consists of, how to play it and what cards we should use to obtain good results in our combats.

Veremos en que consiste esta condición, como jugarla y que cartas debemos usar para obtener buenos resultados en nuestros combates.

What is the "EVEN STEVENS" condition?

When this condition appears in a combat, we can only use cards with even mana cost. Summoners are not affected by this condition.

Cuando esta condición aparece en un combate, únicamente podremos usar cartas con coste de maná par. Los invocadores no les afecta esta condición.

How to get advantage

This is a difficult condition to get a clear advantage, as it is limited to the amount of cards we have with even mana cost:

• We will need to make sure we have enough cards with even mana cost of the Splinter we wish to play.
• These cards must be of the highest level that we can use in the league we are playing.
• It is very advisable to know which cards meet this criterion since we can guess the cards that the enemy will play and create a strategy accordingly.

Cómo obtener ventaja

Esta es una condición difícil de obtener una ventaja clara, ya que está limitada a la cantidad de cartas que tengamos con coste de maná par:

• Tendremos que asegurarnos de disponer de las suficientes cartas con coste de maná par del Splinter que deseemos jugar.
• Estas cartas deben ser del mayor nivel que podamos usar en la liga que estemos jugando.
• Es muy aconsejable conocer que cartas cumplen con este criterio ya que podemos adivinar las cartas que nos jugará el enemigo y crear una estrategia en consecuencia.

A Battle with "EVEN STEVENS" condition

The combat chosen after spending hours looking for one that adapted to the needs of the posts has been one of my secondary account. In it I make use of several Rebellion cards together with a summoner to defeat my enemy.

El combate elegido después de pasar horas buscando uno que se adaptara a las necesidades del posts ha sido uno de mi cuenta secundaria. En ella hago uso de varias cartas Rebellion junto a un invocador para derrotar a mi enemigo.

1		The tank of choice is Terraceous Grunt which at a fair mana cost is really tough and dodges attacks well. I will increase its melee attack thanks to my summoner. Round 1

With my combat strategy I destroy the card that could give me more difficulties Xenith Monk. Terraceous Grunt receives numerous attacks but thanks to Goblin Psychic and Wood Nymph I gradually heal his wounds.

Con mi estrategia de combate destruyo a la carta que más dificultades podía darme Xenith Monk. Terraceous Grunt recibe numerosos ataques pero gracias de Goblin Psychic y Wood Nymph curo poco a poco sus heridas.

Round 2

On the second turn I destroy another of my opponent's creatures, this time Albahoo Forester although Terraceous Grunt has taken a lot of damage and probably won't last much longer standing.

En el segundo turno destruyo otra criatura de mi rival, esta vez a Albahoo Forester aunque Terraceous Grunt ha sufrido muchos daños y es probable que no dure mucho más de pie.

Round 3

The double hits of Pelacor Arbalest are doing a lot of damage to my troops and on the third turn they finally destroy Terraceous Grunt. I also end the turn by hitting Time Mage hard and he is destroyed.

Round 4

The constant blows of Pelacor Arbalest continue and he destroys Goblin Pshychic. The fight is very close and anyone can take the victory.

Round 5

Turn 5 begins and two more attacks destroy Lurking Puffer, although Wood Nymph destroys Xenith Archer and now my opponent has no chance to win the fight. Pelacor Arbalest is in first position and from there he can't use his ranged attacks.

Comienza el turno 5 y dos ataques más destruyen a Lurking Puffer, aunque Wood Nymph destruye a Xenith Archer y ahora mi rival ya no tiene oportunidades para ganar el combate. Pelacor Arbalest está en primera posición y desde ahí no puede usar sus ataques a distancia.

Round 6,7,8,9

Slowly but surely Wood Nymph is pounding away at the remaining creatures until finally destroying Pelacor Arbalest and Soul Fiend.

Lenta pero segura Wood Nymph va golpeando a las criaturas que quedan hasta finalmente destruir a Pelacor Arbalest y Soul Fiend.

My opinion

With the Even Stevens battle condition we cannot have a specific strategy, the only thing left to do is to select the element with the most options of even cost cards and hope that our opponent does not have better cards than us.

Con la condición de batalla Even Stevens no podemos llevar una estrategia en concreto, lo único que nos queda es seleccionar el elemento que más opciones de cartas de costo par tengamos y esperar que nuestro rival no tenga mejores cartas que nosotros.
