First impressions of Mordeus: the beast of the Hell (EN-ES)

Hello Splinterlands friends, in this week's Social Media I want to talk about another legendary card of the Riftwatchers edition. This time it is the turn to comment the Mordeus card.

As usual, we will analyze the card, its stats and abilities to finally see it in combat and give you my personal opinion.

Hola amigos de Splinterlands, en el Social Media de esta semana quiero hablaros de otra carta legendaria de la edición Riftwatchers. En esta ocasión es el turno de comentar la carta Mordeus.

Como sigue siendo habitual, analizaremos la carta, sus estadísticas y habilidades para finalmente verla en combate y daros mi opinión personal.

Comenzamos con el análisis ...

Mordeus is a legendary rarity card of the Riftwatchers edition. It belongs to Fire Splinter and is the lowest mana cost card among all the legendary cards of this edition.

It costs only 7 mana points for a creature with 5 melee attack points, 2 speed points and 4 life points.

Mordeus es una carta de rareza legendaria de la edición Riftwatchers. Pertenece al Splinter Fuego y es la carta de menor coste de maná entre todas las legendarias de ésta edición.

Tan sólo cuesta 7 puntos de maná para una criatura con 5 puntos de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, 2 puntos de velocidad y 4 puntos de vida.

In the following evolution table we can see how at level 2 this card gets +1 in its melee attack and at level 4 it would get another +1 in its melee attack until reaching 7 points of damage.

One of the most powerful attack creatures in Splinterlands and thanks to its low mana cost it is not affected by the Giant Killer ability.

En la siguiente tabla de evolución podemos observar como a nivel 2 esta carta consigue +1 en su ataque cuerpo a cuerpo y ha nivel 4 conseguiría otro +1 en su ataque cuerpo a cuerpo hasta alcanzar los 7 puntos de daño.

Una de las criaturas con ataque más poderoso dentro de Splinterlands y que gracias a su bajo coste de maná no se ve afectada por la habilidad Giant Killer.

OPPORTUNITY

Mordeus has a really interesting combination of abilities.

At level 1 he has the Opportunity ability, one of the most important abilities in the game, which can disrupt the enemy's strategy by destroying their weakest creatures, which are usually the ones with the best abilities.

Mordeus tiene una combinación de habilidades realmente interesantes.

A nivel 1 tiene la habilidad Opportunity, una de las más importantes del juego y que puede desbaratar la estrategia del enemigo destruyendo a sus criaturas más débiles que normalmente son las que tienen las mejores habilidades.

STUN

The second ability he learns is Stun at level 3. A very good ability that causes the enemy not to attack the next turn, although assuming that he will always attack the weakest creatures and with the strength he has it is very likely that he will eliminate them in one hit.

La segunda habilidad que aprende es Stun a nivel 3. Una muy buena habilidad que provoca que el enemigo no ataque el siguiente turno aunque suponiendo que siempre va a atacar a las criaturas más débiles y con la fuerza que tiene es muy probable que las elimine de un sólo golpe.

PIERCING

The third and last ability he learns is Piercing and here we really see the power of this card that thanks to this ability all the damage that exceeds the armor of the card hit, will cause damage to the creature.

La tercera y última habilidad que aprende es Piercing y aquí si que realmente vemos el poder de esta carta que gracias esta habilidad todo el daño que exceda el de la armadura de la carta golpeada, pasará a causar daño a la criatura.

I have selected some of my favorite battles with Mordeus. In them you can clearly see that with a good strategy, this card can be really amazing.

In all of them I play a card with Taunt to take as much damage as possible while Mordeus can attack without problems. It is essential to protect this card as much as possible due to its low amount of life.

In the second battle we can see how the Noxious Fumes condition is perfect to use with the new Skargore summoner because it activates the Enrage ability to all cards multiplying by 1.5 its melee attack and speed.

In these two battles we can see how Mordeus selects the cards with less life and thanks to his incredible strength he manages to destroy many of them.

He seleccionado de mis batalla favoritas con Mordeus. En ellas se puede apreciar claramente que con una buena estrategia, esta carta puede ser realmente sorprendente.

En todas ellas juego con una carta con Taunt para recibir todo el daño posible mientras Mordeus puede atacar sin problemas. Es imprescindible proteger lo máximo posible a esta carta debido a su escasa cantidad de vida.

En la segunda batalla podemos ver como la condición Noxious Fumes es perfecta para usar junto a la nueva invocadora Skargore ya que activa la habilidad Enrage a todas las cartas multiplicando por 1.5 su ataque cuerpo a cuerpo y velocidad.

En estas dos batallas podemos ver como Mordeus selecciona a las cartas con menor vida y gracias a su increíble fuerza llega a destruir a muchas de ellas.

This is one of the most playable cards in all of Riftwatchers. Mordeus is extremely versatile, very powerful. One of those cards that make the difference when you find it on the battlefield.

It is the upgraded version of Serpentine Spy from the Untamed edition with a higher mana cost but with a substantial improvement in its combat stats.

In short, Fire Splinter lovers should be happy to have a card that can resolve combats in a matter of a few rounds. A highly recommended card.

Estamos ante de una de las cartas más jugables de todo Riftwatchers. Mordeus es extremadamente versátil, muy poderosa. Una de esas cartas que marcan la diferencia cuando te la encuentras en el campo de batalla.

Es la versión mejorada de Serpentine Spy de la edición Untamed con un coste superior en maná pero con una mejora sustancial en sus estadísticas de combate.

En definitiva, los amantes del Splinter Fuego deben estar felices de contar con una carta que pueda resolver los combates en cuestión de pocos asaltos. Una carta muy recomendable.
