// Is the transfer market the solution to the problems? [Opinion]

Hola amigos, buenas vibras para todos.

Hello friends, good vibes to all.

Throughout the years it has been believed that the transfer policy of teams is mostly to make a certain club more competitive, which in many cases has been the case, but in others it has not. And it has not worked because managers seek to bring in a player with the purpose of solving the team's basic and fundamental problems, whether it be goals, saves if he is a goalkeeper or being a wall if you are a defender.

I talk about this because the winter market is in motion and logically the amount of rumors and information that is handled is very large; of course it must also be said that the vast majority of these news are false or "pots of smoke" but sometimes they can guide us to know where the possible movements are coming from. So, knowing the situation of several clubs, would they sign to form a project or to extinguish the fire in their locker rooms?

Haaland's future has no ceiling and this is for two reasons: for his age (21 years old) and for the immense talent he has. And it is for these two reasons that many teams are after him, including Barcelona. Is Haaland the solution to the problems that the Culés currently have? - For me, NO. The Norwegian is a guarantee of goals but Barca's shortcomings seem to be in other departments.

Lack of play, defensive solidity and confidence are some of those flaws in the Catalans and with the arrival of Haaland they are not going to be solved. Maybe confidence will improve with such an imposing figure up front but the work that needs to be done is something that will take at least 2-3 years and I don't know if that is the best scenario for the current Borussia player who is looking to play in the Champions League and be in a competitive club, something that Barcelona is not at the moment.

An opposite case to the previous one? - Matthijs De Ligt, current Juventus player. Here I believe, in my humble opinion, that he would be a good reinforcement to try to straighten the course of a team with a high lack of play production. While it is true that he is not having a very good present in Italy, this does not mean that he is an elite player as he showed when he played for Ajax.

It will not be the final solution to the problems but it could be a good lifesaver in this new project headed by Xavi Hernandez. The other side to all this is that financially Barcelona is in crisis, for a change too, so these signings look a bit complicated if not impossible. So the days will pass and we will see what happens.

This time we talk a little about the case of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a player who for me is a "crack" but currently is not having his sweetest moments, this because the relationship between him and Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta is broken. So we ask ourselves the question of the title but in reverse, Arsenal should leave the Gabonese knowing the goal-scoring ability he has? - If you ask an Arsenal fan, they may say no.

It is known that Aubameyang has certain problems with his behavior but this does not justify that he has been left out of the squad for more than 4 times now. Would leaving the English team be the final solution? - Maybe. Throughout history there have been players who have been difficult to get along with but with a brutal capacity to play but when they are in environments where there is simply toxicity or broken relationships they do not perform. And it is a pity that a player of this caliber is on the bench so when the problems are disciplinary the best thing would be to change of air without any doubt.

So to answer my initial question: In most cases, yes, it is the solution. Only in very specific situations like Barcelona's, for example, it is better to have a project that develops from the inside out rather than pretending to be a "solution" like a parachutist. The transfer markets can be valves to release complications of all kinds as well as to relieve and strengthen a team's roster as long as it is done with intelligence and common sense.

Well my people that's all for today, I hope you liked it.
¡Hugs to all, see you next time!
