Cuando digo lo que digo en el titulo de esta publicación es porque realmente es así y no hay hay ninguna duda al respecto. Esta profesión tiene la habilidad de crear, desde cero, diferentes mundos y todos ellos productos de nuestra inventiva y creatividad. En mi caso procuro hacerlo siempre con dos elementos: las flores y los juguetes, porque las primeras son increíblemente bellas llevadas a la macrofotografía y los segundos porque con solo usar la imaginación ya es posible que tengas una bonita foto.

When I say what I say in the title of this publication is because it really is so and there is no doubt about it. This profession has the ability to create, from scratch, different worlds and all of them products of our inventiveness and creativity. In my case I always try to do it with two elements: flowers and toys, because the first ones are incredibly beautiful taken to macro photography and the second ones because just by using your imagination it is possible to have a beautiful photo.

Es muy complicado no ser repetitivo con algunas capturas pero en este pequeño mundo cada foto es totalmente distinta una de la otra por un tema de luces, colores, etc. Claro, existe una gran diferencia entre unas fotos de este estilo y las típicas que se le hacen a una determinada flor y es que acá tienes que jugar mucho con la posición del juguete y sobretodo con luz para que el resultado sea el más diverso posible.

It is very difficult not to be repetitive with some captures but in this small world each photo is totally different one from the other because of lights, colors, etc. Of course, there is a big difference between photos of this style and the typical ones taken of a certain flower and here you have to play a lot with the position of the toy and above all with the light so that the result is as diverse as possible.

Al tener una cámara profesional, aunque muchos de los teléfonos celulares ya lo pueden hacer, podemos jugar un poco con la muy famosa **profundidad de campo** ya que nos permite crear capturas o escenas que la verdad le dan otro tipo de toque y gusto a las fotos. No es poner el carro de juguete en determinado lugar y ya, nada que ver, es hacer la foto con tu mente primero y visualizarla de tal manera que después puedas proceder a hacer el click. Ciertamente es un trabajo que requiere práctica y un poco del ojo entrenado pero no es nada que nadie no puede hacer.

By having a professional camera, although many cell phones can do it, we can play a little with the very famous depth of field as it allows us to create captures or scenes that really give another kind of touch and taste to the photos. It's not just putting the toy car in a certain place and that's it, it's taking the picture with your mind first and visualizing it in such a way that you can then proceed to make the click. Certainly it's a job that requires practice and a bit of a trained eye but it's nothing that anyone can't do.

Volviendo a las fotos, vemos como una pequeña grúa puede estar en diferentes situaciones y lugares y en el que no tenemos ningún tipo de contexto. De eso se trata todo, de poder crear una historia a partir de un grupo de fotos y desde allí comenzar a crear ese universo del que les hablo. Eso en la fotografía se llama "Serie fotográfica."

Going back to the photos, we see how a small crane can be in different situations and places and in which we don't have any kind of context. That's what it's all about, to be able to create a story from a group of photos and from there begin to create that universe I'm talking about. That in photography is called a "photographic series."

En otras palabras, las series fotográficas son las que nos permiten crear una historia porque son fotos la cuales están vinculadas entre si ya sea por su concepto, porque los elementos que salen en ella y hasta por la forma en la que fueron editadas. Un ejemplo de esto? - las capturas que hoy les muestro. Unas fotos que las hice por ejemplo pensando en el universo de la película de "Cars" o porque no, "Toy Story."

In other words, the photographic series are the ones that allow us to create a story because they are photos which are linked to each other either by their concept, because of the elements that appear in it and even by the way they were edited. An example of this? - The captures that I show you today. Some pictures that I took thinking about the universe of the movie "Cars" or why not, "Toy Story."

Tan solo imaginen que cada uno de estos pequeños carros tuviera vida y que con base en eso cada foto sea una experiencia. Sin duda nos estamos poniendo muy fantasiosos pero es que amigos, para hacer fotos así es muy bueno tener un poco de esa mentalidad ya que les aseguro que el producto final será mucho mejor y de más calidad.

Just imagine that each one of these little cars had life and based on that each photo would be an experience. No doubt we are getting very fanciful but friends, to take pictures like this is very good to have a little bit of that mentality because I assure you that the final product will be much better and of higher quality.

Y les digo que eso ayuda porque justamente en el momento en que se pongan a pensar en lo que quieren hacer las ideas les van a empezar a saltar en sus cabezas como nunca. Y por último, otras de las cosas que son MUY IMPORTANTES a parte de la imaginación, es ser consciente de la proporcionalidad de los objetos. Tienen que imaginarse, en este caso son carros pero aplica para cualquier otro objeto, como quedaría una foto de dichos objetos en tamaño real, pero ¿por qué? - pues para que la foto sea lo más realista posible.

And I tell them that it helps because the very moment they start thinking about what they want to do, ideas will start popping into their heads like never before. And finally, other things that are VERY IMPORTANT besides imagination, is to be aware of the proportionality of the objects. You have to imagine, in this case they are cars but it applies to any other object, how a photo of these objects would look like in real size, but why? - Well, so that the photo is as realistic as possible.

De nada nos sirve hacer este tipo de fotografías si no vamos a respetar ese concepto. Así que si queremos crear los universos perfectos es justo que tengamos en mente las dos cosas que tocamos hoy: imaginación y proporción. Manejando adecuadamente estos dos términos les aseguro que serán capaces de producir cualquier cosa que tengan en sus mentes y lógicamente haciendo un buen uso del dispositivo de su preferencia las fotos quedarán mucho mejor logradas.

It is useless to make this kind of photographs if we are not going to respect that concept. So if we want to create the perfect universes it is only fair that we keep in mind the two things we touch on today: imagination and proportion. Handling these two terms properly I assure you that you will be able to produce whatever you have in your mind and logically making good use of the device of your choice the photos will be much better achieved.
