(ESP-ENG) Most expected series for 2025 - Review!
Hello friends, good vibes to all.
This year 2025 looks like it will be one of those years in which we will see great things on television, because we know that new series are coming and obviously it will be the continuation of others that I personally am very much looking forward to. Let's start with something called “The Pitt” to premiere on MAX later this month. This series is the closest thing to the mythical “ER” or “The Resident”, this type of series are spectacular because the drama and tension that is lived in these hospital emergency rooms are spectacular. Another thing that I value is the realism that is experienced in these productions which makes me really want to take a look at it.
There are two more series to be released. “Daredevil” and ‘Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’, the first from Disney and the second from MAX. We all know the Marvel universe and how decayed it is and more so when Disney is so involved, I have not been a big fan of the franchise for a long time but it is true that with the return of Charlie Cox to the character it is very likely that something good will come out of it. It will also depend on how friendly they made it, I hope it's at least PG-13 to make it more enjoyable. And the second one is set in the Game Of Thrones universe. It is known that the time will be a century before what we saw in GOT and will feature Aegon V, a Targaryen. After House of the Dragon we will have to see if this one manages to maintain the levels of audience and interest that may have been lost with the aforementioned.
Series that continue and that for me are awesome: “The handmaid's tale”. This series is probably one of the best series on television and I feel it is deeply underrated. Its last season was in 2022 and now comes to a close with season six. June (Elisabeth Moss) and Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) will be in charge of commanding a possible alliance against the oppressive state of Gilead to get their daughters back. Honestly? - is what I'm most looking forward to this year without a doubt. Finally we will have the second season of “Severance” on Apple TV+ after many problems between the producers and the creator of the series. It was one of the best at the time and the way it ended left expectations very high. We will see what will become of Mark's life and the company full of secrets Lumon Industries.
The White Lotus is back but this time in Asia, more specifically in Thailand. The third season is said to have a darker tone as it will cover topics such as religion and death itself. This series with its touches of dark comedy and thriller has earned the interest and good reputation for being one of the best and most anticipated by the audience. What Mike White has done with this series is epic, I think very few expected the success it is having. The Night Agent on Netflix had a very good acceptance in its first season, maybe there were people who didn't like it but I particularly found it very top and I compare it quite a lot with “Reacher” whose third season is also coming back this year.
And well, as is obvious and already in everyone's conversation, we will see the end of Stranger Things and The Squid Games, the two most important Netflix series in its history. Out there there are things that are also coming but for some strange reason I'm not looking forward to them, I'm talking about The Last of Us, Andor and it is known that another installment in the Blade Runner universe is coming. Seasons of The Witcher with a new actor and The Yellowjackets will also land in 2025. As you can see, there are too many things for the little time we will surely have, but this does not mean that this new year will be very busy. Of course I am leaving out a lot of things which I am probably forgetting but I would think that this is the most striking and relevant for me. Let's hope that everything fulfills and leaves a good taste in our mouths because the expectations are important.
¡Un abrazo a todos, nos vemos en la próxima!
Well my people that's all for today, I hope you liked it.

Saludos.
I really hope something nice is coming this year since there are few anticipated shows that really flopped.
I think some are more expected than others but overall I think and hope it will be a good year like you. The Netflix series with their unnecessary lengthening is perhaps what has caused them to lower the quality a bit.
Gran post! Saludos!
Few people know “The Handmaid's Tale”, very cool that you know which one it is. I think it's the one I'm looking forward to the most in this 2025, when it was at its prime the truth is that it was the best of television.
