POB: It looks like the Stampede for Vybrainium has already started
Watching as the whales roll into the town of #vybrainium and start buying #Vyb is a positive sign for the new #vyb community, that fills me with joy and with that we should start to see some positive effects start to correlate with the #pob community.
If you were considering selling those liquid POB, I would strongly suggest against it, If you must, maybe think about following the herd and using any liquid POB to do a direct purchase for VYB.
It is clearly the better long term option, but don't get bogged down with F.O.M.O

This will add strength to the #pob tribe and token and should over the coming weeks see a demand for liquid #pob that will be staked for a set time period in a pob fund, once used to purchase vybrainium of course, because of this we should see a rise in value of both tokens.

Correct me if I am wrong, my understanding is that, if you are currently staked with pob tokens, vyb tokens will be like a fork and airdropped to those that are staked. if so, this is a positive moral booster for every pob HODLer that weathered the storm or so to speak.
Big things seem to be happening behind the scenes and @trostparadox and his newly formed vyb team @scholaris.pob @calumam and @nonsowrites have really out done themselves with this amazing initiate. I wish you guys the best of luck and look forward to converging with you at some point as things move forward.
It looks like a proof of brain styled pension fund has arrived in the name of #vybrainium, a 100% staked token with disincentives for those that want to unstake, I can't wait to see the new front ends for both tribes when they are officially launched.

I hope this will incentivise those in the pob community that were considering selling their tokens for a measly price, to reconsider that though as I believe the road is about to get rocky and we are heading out of the storm into the sunshine as demand for Pob is set to soar.
Don't take my word for it, simply watch as the whales continue to roll into the town of vybrainium to buy up all those liquid calf bearing pob cows.
Sometimes when you can't beat them joining them is the only logical option.
Don't give up on your dreams to become financially independent just yet, things are only getting started.

As of right now, just shy of 90,000 POB have been exchanged for just shy of 300,000 VYB. The current exchange rate is 1 POB for 2 VYB (minimum of 250 POB per transaction). That means sending 1,000 POB to @x-1pob-2vyb will result in 2,000 VYB being sent back to you (until the VYB in that account runs out -- with a first-in first-out ordering). There is currently 54,992 VYB remaining in the 1-POB-for-2-VYB account. Then the exchange rate switches to 1-for-1 (the 1-for-1 account holds 300,000 VYB).
Of course, you can also buy VYB on the open market. Do your homework to figure out where the best option might be. Also, the POB-for-VYB exchange transactions are being handled manually, so please be patient -- the return transaction should take place within 24 hours, usually sooner than that.
Also, if there is not enough VYB in the account you are sending to, your original POB will be returned to you unless you include the word 'market' in the memo of the transaction. Including the word 'market' means "I want to exchange these POB tokens for VYB tokens at this exchange rate or the next best available exchange rate(s)."
A slight correction is in order. The VYB airdrop will not be like a fork of POB, but staked POB (as of November 12, 2021) is an important part of the calculation.
The airdrop (which will occur on or around 12/15/2021), will be for those who have earned POB (by posting original content via the Proof of Brain tribe) and who have staked and hodled the POB they earned (rather than selling it or leaving it unstaked) and who generally refrained from self-voting on the posts and comments that earned them their POB.
Here is perhaps a simpler way to understand the airdrop:
The airdrop will be based on POB earnings and holdings as of November 12, 2021. So unstaking POB now to purchase VYB via the aforementioned direct-exchange will not diminish any of the VYB you will receive via the airdrop.
For example, here is what your airdrop calcs look like (I will try to publish all the calcs soon, so folks can check their own calcs to make sure no mistakes are made in the final tabulation):
That means 1,714.17 POB will count toward the airdrop. Assuming all my calcs are correct, this should result in you receiving about 6,000 VYB via the airdrop. The airdropped VYB will arrive staked. By contrast, any VYB you claim via the aforementioned direct-exchange (exchanging POB for VYB) will arrive liquid.
This is a wonderful and smart idea...@trostparadox it will build up a staking habit which will be good for the benefits of the platform and everyone...

This is very good news for those that staked pob prior to Nov 12th.
The fact that these tokens will be 100% staked is a good thing in my opinion and will create instantly staked and sensible curators for the vyb community.
This in turn will strenghten both the pob and vyb tribes and of course tokens and should encourage original creators with a solid long term plan to strategise their staked portfolios

Just out of curiosity, I would like to know where can I check my eligibility for the airdropped VYB tokens. I am really keen to understand how many of my posts were considered to be eligible for the airdrop. That is something I would like to know to get more clarity. Is their any calculator to get the conversions.

Your white paper is talking mainly about who qualify for airdrop mainly as
"POB earned by authoring a comment and/or post"
But what about POB earned as curation returns???
Does POB earned as curation work will qualify for airdrop???
We need a more clear and precise statement on this.

Thank you @failingforwards I have been building up my liquid pob funds for the past week in preparation, but maybe its best to just dive in before all the good offers are gone.
@trostparaox also clarified that those who were pob staked before Nov 12th will also be eligible for an airdrop, percentages depending on selfvotes, you can read his very detailed calc of my account above in the comments.
This should give you a rough idea of how the airdrop will be calculated. Which I hope you find helpful.
