Flipkart, the second-largest e-commerce company in India, is now allowing customers to discover products in the metaverse. The e-commerce giant launched the 'Flipverse' on Oct. 17, aiming to digitally integrate online and offline shopping experiences.

The Flipverse has been developed in collaboration with eDAO, an organization backed by Polygon. The Flipverse allows users to create a metaverse avatar to go virtual shopping. It will also feature contests, exclusive brand offers, and unique digital collectibles.

This new environment is available at FireDrops, Flipkart's new platform. Brands like Puma and Nivea have been announced to be part of Flipverse. Flipkart boasts over 200 million monthly active users, and this project could draw large numbers to Web3.
