LA SEGUNDA SEMANA/THE SECOND WEEK

Saludos a la gran comunidad de HIVE, en esta oportunidad seguiré contándoles sobre las experiencias en mi trabajo, los pollos de engorde se crían durante un periodo de 6 semana y en esta oportunidad le hablaré sobre la semana número 2. Durante esta semana mi turno cambia ya que en mi horario de trabajo nos rotamos en cada semana que pasa, trabajamos una semana en el dia y una semana en la noche haciendo el cambio de horario todos los domingos los cuales trabajamos medio tiempo para que el cambio sea posible. El trabajo nocturno requiere mayor esfuerzo pues todos sabemos que la costumbre del ser humano es dormir en las noches y pasar toda una semana trabajando 12 horas de noche se hace un poco engorroso pero no es nada que no se pueda soportar. En este horario trabajan solo los llamados porteros que crían al pollo y tienen la responsabilidad de hacer que coman en la noches así como lo hacen normalmente en el día. Durante este tiempo los pollitos siguen siendo bastante vulnerables a las condiciones ambientales y el cuidado con ellos debe ser bastante fuerte, se les cierran las cortinas para que no entre el aire frió de la noche y de igual manera se les encienden las lámparas a base de gas (criadoras) para darles el calor suficiente dentro de cada galpón, ya a los pollitos se les va notando el crecimiento tanto en peso como en el cambio del plumaje de amarillo a blanco en una que otra zona de su cuerpo. Por otra parte desde el punto de mi vista de mi trabajo debo estar mucho más alerta en los alrededores ya que el alumbrado por esta zona es bastante escaso y en caso de que ocurra alguna irregularidad debo ser yo el primero en actuar (recuerden que mi trabajo es de seguridad). El tiempo que se pasa aquí se puede decir que se hace bastante entretenido, a pesar de que a todos aquí nos hace falta nuestra familia siempre tenemos buena actitud porque sabemos que estamos encerrados es para un bien de ellos mismos en cuanto a lo económico. Aunque el proceso de criar pollos es bastante delicado igual no deja de tener entretenimiento y dejar mucho aprendizaje, y aún nivel algo absurdo deja experiencias muy locas o extrañas de contar lo cual hace que las 6 semanas que pasamos dentro del trabajo sean más llevaderas o se sientan que pasan con una rapidez mayor a lo que nuestra mente está acostumbrada.

During this week my shift changes Since in my work schedule we rotate each week that passes, we work one week during the day and one week at night, changing the schedule every Sunday, and we work part time so that the change is possible. Night work requires more effort because we all know that the habit of human beings is to sleep at night and spending a whole week working 12 hours at night becomes a bit cumbersome but it is nothing that cannot be endured. During this time, only the so-called porters work who raise the chicken and are responsible for making them eat at night as they normally do during the day. During this time the chicks are still quite vulnerable to environmental conditions and the care with them must be quite strong, the curtains are closed so that the cold air of the night does not enter and in the same way the lamps based on gas (brooders) to give them enough heat inside each shed, the chicks are already noticing the growth both in weight and in the change of plumage from yellow to white in one or another area of their body. On the other hand, from the point of view of my work, I must be much more alert in the surroundings since the lighting in this area is quite scarce and in the event of any irregularity, I must be the first to act (remember that my work is security). It can be said that the time spent here is quite entertaining, despite the fact that we all need our family here, we always have a good attitude because we know that we are locked up for their own good in terms of money. Although the process of raising chickens is quite delicate, it is still entertaining and leaves a lot of learning, and even at a somewhat absurd level, it leaves very crazy or strange experiences to tell, which makes the 6 weeks we spend at work more bearable or feel that they pass faster than our mind is used to.

Hasta el momento no ha sucedido ninguna irregularidad en cuanto a trabajo se refiera y espero que así sea todo el lote para que todos cumplamos con nuestras labores de forma bastante tranquila y los pollitos salgan con el peso requerido. Hasta el próximo post que estén bien.
