HIVE OPENMIC #109: I BELIEVE I CAN FLY ACOUSTIC REMIX BY JAYDR
Hello everyone
This is hive open-mic week 109 and I m doing a song by R. Kelly. I believe I can fly. I chose this song after doing another song but felt why not just do something about flying. I m glad I did this tho because while I sang I realised some little changes could be done so I just had fun all the way and broke the unwritten rule. I know it's not cool to change a well-known song but what if people like it? Hehehe.
So I did my kind of I believe I can fly. And I believe that the whole essence of this theme, Paper kite" freedom to be creative, this is my being creative. And I hope you like it.
With the thought of my childhood kite, we often used nylons tho and things that can float easily on air. We had a rope or thread attached to it which would be used to guide its height and distance. It could only go where we want. Thinking of that, it doesn't look like freedom, it looks more like my restriction within a limit. Nonetheless, I have seen a paper kite. Maybe that goes off on its own. I could make a paper plane, though it was my most complex and popular paper works back then, funny I can still make one, maybe write a post about it someday.

I m glad to be a part of this week's event. Tomorrow happens to be my birthday and the week has been busy. So more reason I fell for this song.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
Dear Jaydr I don't think there is anything wrong with giving a song your own style, after all you always make wonderful entries with that personal stamp that characterizes you, we also used the same materials as you to make kites, in our country we also call them Papagayo, yes we know it's a weird name ( laughs )😄.
