I knew this would be a difficult one for me from the first sight of it, Nigeria is a beautiful place and Nigerian do not deserve the treatment they get by its rulers however, we also need to express the joy we have for being Nigerians and also let the world know just how beautiful some places here are.

Nigerian has 36 States and 1 Federal capital Territory which serves as the abode of the highest tier of Government power.

All the states have beautiful things they are known for however I have only been able to travel to about 12 states an travel across about 3 others.
For me the beautiful places I love are in my current state of residence, Ibadan.

Ibadan is an ancient city in the South west Nigeria and know for its numerous epic brown roofs, however, a lot of that are soon changing as the current State Govt seem to have prospects of massive development.

Notwithstanding, it is a calm and serene place to live, grow and do business. The proximity of Lagos to it makes it a resting place for a lot of Lagos workers and hustlers.

Ibadan houses the for most monuments of Nigerian civilization with the Premier University founded in it. And the University College hospital.
It also house the First Radio station, TV stations and many other first. It was supposed to be the home of wit and grit before the military turn around back in the days.

That said, the reason I chose Ibadan was because I love the city and really would love to settle in it. I see a lot of prospects for business entrepreneurship, ministry and healthcare thriving in this City.
Sports inclusive, it has 2 main stadiums, The Liberty stadium and the Adamasingba stadium. I see it become the Manchester City in Nigeria in the nearest days.

For one it is not as busy as Lagos (where I grew up) always is, although I beginning to fear the kind of traffic on the roads reminds me of Lagos.

There are also some other fun aspect of Ibadan, cinemas, good local food and chill outs are not scarce in supply.

Been to Ibadan once, it is a very cool place to live in especially if you want to be away from crowds and a big city.

Well.. Help us beg Lagos people to stay in Lagos and leave Ibadan for calm heads.

The problem with Ibadan is that there are only few urbanized areas unlike Lagos.. Everywhere is London.

currently live in Ibadan. Relocated from lagos and it is the best decision I have made this year. I love the peace and pace of the city. It makes Lagosians look like mad people. I can't stand the thought of living or working in Lagos. It is the closest thing to hell that I know.

If I wasn't living in Ibadan, I probably would live in Abuja. Although expensive, I think it is a really nice place. Abuja has good road networks, beautiful scenery and the people there are a lot saner than Lagosians

He hehe..
I decline so many offers in Lagos because it just doesn't fit my life at all. I actually grew up there and have to go see my Mum there, but its too toxic for my early days now.
Maybe later.

Yeah.. Heard so much about Abuja.
A good consideration.
