Hello Hiveopenmic community,
This is open mic week 156 with the theme hasta El extremo suggested by @wbrandt one of our veteran musician here and beyond.

I am thrilled to share with you all my cover of "The Blessing" by Elevation Choir, Cody Barnes, and Kari Jobe for the Hive Open Mic Week 156. This is a song that has touched many hearts around the world, and I am excited to add my own personal touch to it.

"The Blessing" is a powerful song that speaks about the love and protection of God. The song is a prayer of blessing, asking God to shine his face upon us, to be gracious to us, and to give us peace. This song is not only uplifting, but it's also a reminder of the love and protection we have in our faith.

My cover of "The Blessing" is a simple and heartfelt rendition of the original. I wanted to keep the focus on the lyrics and the message of the song. I used my acoustic guitar to create a gentle and calming melody, letting the words take center stage.
