Dinner By The Beach

Hello dear Hivers, happy Thursday!

My brother messaged me saying he was going somewhere in Talisay Poblacion and asked if I wanted to go with him. After finishing our business there, he decided that we should hang out by the beach for a while. When we arrived, I was immediately amazed by the place—there were stalls where you could have dinner, and you could also order drinks. But of course, we only had dinner.

We tried eating “tuslo-buwa,” which is made from pig’s brain cooked with onions, chili, and soy sauce. It might sound unusual, but it actually tastes really good.

What made it even nicer is that it’s right by the sea. The water was so calm—just perfect.

The ambiance was so relaxing, especially if you’re coming from the city where it’s noisy and full of traffic. Going straight to the seaside for dinner really takes away all your stress.

This is why the beach and the mountains are my favorite places. I don’t appreciate city life as much anymore, especially now that I’m getting older. It just feels so good to spend time by the sea or in the mountains.

If you ever visit Talisay, I really recommend checking out Maharlika Seaside Park. Maharlika Seaside Park is perfect — a lot of people visit there, especially students, workers, and families, because it’s very accessible. There are also many options to choose from, like barbecue, short-order dishes, Tuslob-buwa, and more.

Thank you for taking the time to read and see you on my next blog.
