Bayanihan In Fixing The Fishing Boat | #Monomad Challenge

Bayanihan is a Filipino word that means working together as a community to attain a common objective, a communal unity basically. Like these photos that I am going to share, a group of fishermen working together to fix the engine of the boat of their co-fishermen.

As I do my morning walk on the shoreline I noticed these men working carrying the fishing boat with the front of the boat being on the water and the back was being placed in an old truck tire so as not to touch the portion of the boat where the engine is located.

After a couple of minutes, the boat is likely fixed already as they carried it again all the way to the water.

As soon as the boat gets on the water, one of the fishermen, most probably the owner hopped on the boat and immediately start the engine. And is likely heading on the mid-ocean to catch fish.

All above photos were captured by yours truly and these will be my entry as well for the #monomad challenge of @monochromes.

Photos were shot using Nikon D5600 + Nikon 40-150 Lens.
